You should try and get back in. I stopped playing a bit after links came out but that was mostly due to the pandemic. After getting back in the game and finding out that fusions, xyz's and synchros can go anywhere on the main monster field and don't have to be in the extra monster zone or where a link points to was great to find out and I've been enjoying the game since coming back.

What I love about Speed Duel physical products (and what I hope they continue to do in the future) is give us reprints or imports of the normal monsters we never got. There are still so many stupidly hard ones to collect and it shouldn't be that way so here's hoping!
The only problem I have with this set is that there’s no Neo-Spacian cards, no support for Elemental Hero Neos or any of the Neo-Space Fusion monsters in it.
This Speed Duel box is probably a contender for product of the year. It's an underrated format and super enjoyable to play. Highly recommend it to anyone. 😈🤘
I bought the Battle City and GX boxes yesterday and had a blast taking out all of the hyper specific stuff and drafting out cards at random! we had more fun doing that than we have playing modern Yugioh for a long time! Definitely just a change of pace rather than a permanent thing though. Even if I'm crazy for it I love modern Yugioh!

Going to get the box in 3 weeks thanks to Amazon. I'm excited. One sad thing... they didn't give us Shining Flare Wingman (we were PROMISED) and I wanted it since everyone has an ace but not SHINING FLARE for JADEN?! Also no Air Neos SIGH, maybe next time I want a 5d's box just to get the Signer Dragons, Zexal for stuff, Arc-V because and Vrains BECAUSE.
This product is definitely a great one especially with the secret rare upgrades to dasher and ancient gear golem. The promo pack is the most exciting part of these speed duel boxes
Speed Duel set are good for nostalgia and for older/returning players, but I hope someday we will get Rush Duel too. I played it video game and it's very refreshing game, more than Speed Duel and Sevens anime is amazing too.
I haven't played in a long time gx was actually the last yugioh show i watched im actually re watching and i picked up this set so me and my wife can play together we both have different people we like in the show so this would be great
@@garenthal9638 it's just support to add to your deck. While it's still an effective deck, it does nothing for your stardust dragon cards. Don't get me wrong, I love that deck and bought 3 of them. Nonetheless I would like to have his deck in the same treatment of yugis legendary decks. Everyone would.
kinda wish they would redo the orgional shows and have it a bit more updated would be cool to see what kinda duels they could do with the updated cards for each archtype

It's an awesome product but there are a lot of legacy characters that need to be featured in these speed duel products, from Duel Monsters (Waking The Dragons and Virtual World arc) and GX (Dinos, Red Eyes and other monsters).
I dont see why they have to say speed duel on them. It's just a different format of playing the game with all the same cards except the skill cards. The speed duel is just an eye sore to me and I can't bring myself to purchase these cards.

Another Jaden deck is coming in the Midterm Paradox Deck iirc so we might get Neo Spacians (alongside Paradox Bros, Bastion and Syrus).

I actually got it to build an Ojama deck and a volcanic deck not just for speed duels but regular duels as well.

Unfortunately there is no reason to run Ancient Gear over Spell Proof Armor.
