Education is definitely important. Sadly, many parents do not instill the idea in their kids, and education is FREE. Expanding their vocabulary and diction when speaking and writing makes a huge difference. Also, being able to analyze a variety of situations and conversations and knowing how to make inferences are important tasks. I fight with our young people five days a week, trying to get them to stop talking and playing - so they can pay attention and learn. ELA is no joke; it's necessary beyond the classroom and is necessary in the real world.

Yea...Wayne was pretty much still in the hood until he found Nicki and Drake...he wasn't worldwide before that although he was one of the hottest rappers at the time. Once Trap Muzik came out TIP took off, had songs with Pharrell x Timberlake x Rihanna x The Dream etc. Live Your Life was huge in 08 and not in the hood but the super mainstream. He fucked that up by going to jail. Wayne was bigger since he'd been out longer. But TI smashed back to back to back for almost the whole 2000s.
