    This was the first ever live performance and also the t.v debut of this song. They day they did this was the same day that it was released as a single and the day the music video came out and the day that they announced the new album and tour.
    Two days before this they started a mini tour of small venues where the venues weren’t announced till the day of the show. (the city was announced the day before but not the venue). At the first show they didn’t play this because they wanted to debut it on Fallon after all the other announcements were done. The second show the night after this they played it for the first time in concert.

    You should do a video on why Brendon seems to have problems with the first part of High Hopes live. It's not like he hits wrong notes but his tone is just really off and that happened not just once.
    Also I think Brendon's decision of having a female bassist/backup vocalist is interesting and brings a bit of change into their sound. Not saying that Dallon is better or worse than Nicole because they're both amazing musicians but the female voice just has a different colour and Nicole's voice actually mixes really well with Kenny and Brendon's vocals where as with Dallon I sometimes had no idea who was singing which part because their tones were all quite similar

    • @ava-vu5cb
      @ava-vu5cb 5 лет назад +14

      The Anna it sounds like he has trouble on video...I went to his concert and it sounded perfect! I don’t know what happens with the audio but he sounds almost perfect live!???!

    • @AceMusicFreak
      @AceMusicFreak 5 лет назад +2

      pfff Brendon never had trouble on video also the other songs sound fine. Maybe through the PA of the venue you couldn't hear it but even in an acoustic setting he doesn't get the right tone. It might also be that Brendon is very aware of his weakness and at his own shows has something on his monitor that helps him with the tone.

    • @ava-vu5cb
      @ava-vu5cb 5 лет назад +1

      The Anna true true but his voice might be strained from all the performances he has to do :( ruclips.net/video/CFDi-x5e3OI/видео.html also I think he does really good on that acoustic ^

    • @AceMusicFreak
      @AceMusicFreak 5 лет назад +4

      pfff if you listen you can hear that his tone is off even in this performance, especially with the higher notes.
      Also tone generally has little to do with fatigue. You have tone problems if you know what to sing but not how so you know the note you're singing but you don't know how much air you need, in which register you are and how open the sound is and so you try and it's hit and miss

    • @izzybelle05
      @izzybelle05 5 лет назад +2

      The Anna i saw him live and it sounds great but i think i know what ur talking about. I think it can be a case of nerves, just nervous excitement to sing as well as just he is a very excited guy (love him so) and in-ear monitors are sometimes off. If its too high or low it effects how a musician plays and/or sings. I notice when it sounds a lil like he is going “off” he adjusts his earpiece.
