exactly why im going to choose it as my senior piece next year (our director lets each sr pick a song they want to play at the end of each year) because its a CRANKING horn line especially when we get the melody and at the end!! i love to fall cff too and this is a great song to do that.. it's just such a crowd pleasing and entertaining piece

I’m a member of the Purdue Marching band, and Matt Conaway is one of our faculty members and therefore he arranges lots of our halftime/stands music. From experience, I can guarantee you that while this recording sounds good, this piece sounds 10x better live, especially the bombastic ending. If you have a strong trumpet section, I highly recommend adding this to your catalog.
@@Anakinskywalker76 Almost 2 years, I think. But my dad is a drummer, so it’s pretty easy to get advice when I need it. I’m naturally good in some areas, not sure why. I’m the best player in my line, at the whole playing part at least.
@@Anakinskywalker76 It all depends whether your school allows you to join late or not. If you really want to take it serious, practice a lot. Like, I almost always have a pair of sticks and a pad with me.

When I was in high school the band seniors got to choose what song to play for the last time at graduation. This song would’ve been so fun to play. 😭
