[TUTORIAL] APPLE iMac 27 RECOVERED - DISASSEMBLE EXPLODED RESTORE CLEANING

Browsing the Internet we have found a piece of equipment that has caught our attention: a 27" iMac from 2009 that turns off. In the photo it appears on, the graphics work, the screen seems to work too, the glass is complete... perhaps! be just the power supply (which in the end is not at all!
After contacting the seller, he tells us that it turns off every few minutes, and that after removing "lint" deposited in the RAM modules it lasts a little longer, but that it turns off anyway, being impossible to work with it and that he was about to throw it away in a Green Dot. We bought it to buy it and see what surprise we will find!
Once we have it in our possession, we realize that it is dirty, very dirty on the outside (and we assume that it is also on the inside). After an external cleaning and checking that the operating system boots and loads, we proceed to open it to change the hard drive for an SSD. Once opened, we clean some condensers, we remove all the grease and dust that is possible and we apply a good vacuum to it deeply... Almost unintentionally, we discover that the lower grille is clogged by dirt, is that the reason why turns off when the equipment cannot breathe?
After a thorough cleaning, installing the new SSD, changing the thermal paste of the graphics card and the processor, changing the battery, upgrading the RAM... the iMac is ready!: macOS High Sierra is installed from a USB and The computer works as it should again without shutting down. But there is still the problem of internal dirt in the LCD that has no solution along with sporadic blackouts of the LCD, in the end we opted to replace the panel with a working part and other equipment brought back to life and saved from ending up in the Green Point! !.
