I’m so glad your move went smoothly. It looks like your downsizing is going well. Very smart to sell the items that wouldn’t fit early on in the process of your relocation.
A little tip for your kitchen… it’s best to not store herbs and spices near anything that produces heat (range/cooktop/oven) because the heat causes a chemical reaction (think activating the essential oils) and will change the flavor of them while being stored. Ultimately decreasing the flavor you get out of them while cooking later.

When I move I always do my bedroom first and then kitchen and bathroom I always think those are the first staples everything else follows after

It’s possible that having your mirror over the thermostat like that will affect the temperature settings cause it might not feel the temperature accurately.
Also, try taking the door off of the closet to get that cube organizer in. :)

Love the new home. I like your desk at the window for extra light. Maybe you can put a tall fan in the bathroom that would also help with the closet. Just a thought.The only thing in the kitchen is you can try you glasses in cabinet by the refrigerator. Can't wait to see how you decorate. Love the living room. You can always see if the shelf thing can fit under the clothes bar on the bottom. Turn on side and see if you can use it that was. You use for shoes,jeans ,or what ever else. So very happy and so proud of your accomplishments.

you CAN technically take the ikea cube organizer apart to try to get it in the little closet! I know from experience because I messed both of my Alex 5 drawers up when I was building them and my boyfriend had to take them apart and rearrange lol! Its a bit of a pain in the ass but you can do it! would probably be easier to get a little smaller one though. I am LOVING the new apartment! Feels more cozy than the last one.

The desk looks great where you had it! Maybe even a little more towards the left, but it’s nice to have the natural light in front of you instead of behind
I like the desk by the window. Make sure that blocking the thermostat with the mirror doesn't prevent it from working properly. I would think that would keep it from working efficiently. I hope you enjoy your new place!

I love your new apartment. I actually moved in October and I can tell you that I had about three times as many boxes as you did. I had hardly slept the night before, as I had to take my cats to be boarded overnight, and I was just so worried about them. I was so exhausted that after the movers left with my stuff, on my way to my new apartment, I had to stop and get me an energy drink. Regarding your desk, I would keep it by the window. That way you can look out when you’re working.

I don’t know what system your complex use but if it’s the vivnt system you can connect it to Google nest and turn your thermostat on and off with it.
Moving is always a lot of work so great that you were able to have help. If you want, I would call(or even text because I know how you are with making phone calls) the guy just to say thank you for helping with the move. You never really know what could happen unless you try.

for me i would keep the desk where it's at mainly because on what you said it makes the room look bigger but also i like how's its by a window so you'll be getting natural light when sitting there. also i can't wait to see how the kitchen comes together because there's so many cabinets that i wouldn't know what to do with everything 😅

You better store spices as far from stove as possible. Heat accelerates flavor loss. Maybe you can switch drawers with cutlery or something like that.

@15:00 I feel like it's common in sweden to have the top drawer in the vertical row of drawers to be the one for silverware and since the one you have now is too big for the silverware and the top drawer that I mentioned is too cramped for your cooking utensils maybe try switching them 🤔

95 degrees in Phoenix this morning! Just unbelievable! Cant even wake up without a sweat! Highs today 116! This week our historic heat wave will be in the books! Unfortunately no relief anytime soon! But i guess a bit of good news is a 10% chance of isolated monsoon storms this evening! But probably mostly would be blowing dust if anything occurs!

i honestly don't use most of them hahah. i bought a spice set when i moved into my first apartment and it had a ton. im wanting to rey to new recipes so i use all of them
