@faarose: Hi Faarose , not directly . Do you work on the technology ( IT ) side of Fintech? If yes, IT is considered a niche skill & mentioned in the Shortage Occupation list. But again due to the new PBS, you should just focus on applying for jobs & see if you manage to grab an offer letter or not. I hope this helps. Good luck Faarose.

1. How will the process from UK Government be different compared to propel applying from India or else where
Like, I already have a visa so a new visa will not be required so what will be required in my case
2. Also, NARIC is throwing me error when trying to apply for english language "From the options selected for nationality, immigration tier and/or route, you do not need the UK NARIC Visa and Nationality service. Click below to view other options and services"
Not sure what need to be done in above case.
3. When and how can we apply for it ?
4. My company have a subsidiary branch in UK through which I'm employed here will they have any problem if I apply for the PR ? do I need to even inform them that I will be taking this step ?

2. Error message : looks like you have filled that you already have a UK visa. For Tier 2 ICT you don’t need NARIC/IELTS but for new Skilled visa you do, so just put a fresh application and mark that you don’t have a visa.

So from what I understand, unlike Canada's express entry - this is a point based "work visa" system and not a points based "permanent residency" system. Once someone gets the work visa in UK they still need to live for 5 years on a visa(and abide by all visa regulations like 1) Updating visa to transfer jobs 2) Not work multiple jobs etc) before they can apply for permanent residence. Am I right?
Hi Vinod, yes your understanding is right and this new Skilled visa was previously known us Tier 2 General. Once they live in UK for 5 years on the same Skilled visa, they can apply for ILR which is Indefinite Leave to Remain and after that they are eligible to apply for British Passport.

One issue i have seen is companies wont consider any profile who doesn’t have visa, its like a circle
so u need to only aply where they say , they are ready to sponsor visa. i have covered so many videos regarding such jobs.

yes UK's skilled visa is tied to employer ... but if u find new sponsor then you can change job. after 5 years on Skilled visa you are eligible for ILR(indifinite leave to remain).

Hey thanks . If u have more than 3 years of experience, try first Skilled visa & if your job falls under shortage occupation list , you have a high chance to succeed. Try this for 6 months, if this doesn’t work, try different alternate route like coming here for study or ICT visa etc..

Job at appropriate level means if u are A+ which is equivalent to 12th pass in India. Low skill means anyone less than A+

Thanks for posting your question. Civil Engineer is considered a niche skill and is in demand here however due to the Global pandemic the job prospect is dim so my suggestion is to apply for jobs only after 6-9 months once the vaccine is rolled out.

Hi Rocky, do u mean she got resturant in UK ? She can hire & sponsor only if her resturant in registered with the UK govt because only approved sponsor are eligible to issue CoS & Offer letter.

Like if it's an NHS (medical job) they ask you to process for a 3 years visa which later gets extended but for other jobs you can directly apply for 5 years. Hence CoS is important as it contains details as in how long will your employer need you.

Hi Baljinder, no you cannot change Tourist Visa to Work Visa. This is not allowed. For work visa, you need to have a job offer from a licensed UK sponsor & score of 70 points before you apply for skilled work visa.

Hi Ahmed, if you score 70 points, yes it means you are eligible for Skilled worker visa. So your employer will have to provide you with CoS(Certificate of Sponsorship) which can be used to file your own visa. I hope this helps.

If you manage to collect 70 points then you will need to spend 5 years on a skilled visa and at the end of 6th year you can apply for British passport.
Please make a video for those who come from UK on a dependent visa and want to go on a work permit visa. What documents they need for them and how to process them.
