Oh my, I went back to watch Sugar and when you layed her down and her little eyes were open and her little chin pointing high just looking at Mom so special full of love for her mommy. This part of the video is so beautiful between the two of you. Then she went totally out & didn't even need milk. She had a stressful day with the thunder which wore her out. Bless her heart!

Goodness, so adorable! She wore herself out. Funny gesture on turning corner, then laying to side. Have seen Chi chi monkey do this. Now I know it means afraid. Sugar monkey girl has a good Mama❤.
Hahaha! That was so funny the way she ran. She was really scared but had the presence of mind to run for cover literally. But she recovered quick enough to fall asleep. I had a dog once who went berserk when it thundered. She would pant, salivate, urinate and tear the house down. She was uncontrollable whenever a thunderstorm came. One day, we found the magic cure. We played her music. Not any music but specifically Vaughn Williams' operatic "The Sea Symphony". Yup, my dog Bun had a taste for classical music. She wanted no other piece but The Sea Symphony. Everytime it stormed, we would play her that piece. She would listen intently, then promptly fall asleep even as thunder and lightning raged around her. She never had a problem with storms after that.

@@MonkeySugar Oh but Bun died in 2016. She was 16 years old. I adopted her at the age of 12 because the owner had issues with her. One of her issues was the fear of storms where she would ram herself into walls and tear through the house. The owner would put her in a cage to contain the rampage but it made things worse because she would injure herself inside the wire cage. Surprising that at her age, she had the strength. But with me, all her issues disappeared. They say an old dog cannot learn new tricks. That is untrue. She changed completely under my care, stopped all destructive behaviour and became the sweetest old lady in the world. She never needed comforting during the storm, just The Sea Symphony. It was her anthem. How I loved her and how I miss her. We played her The Sea Symphony during her cremation. Her ashes are still in the urn that I keep to this day. Take care of Sugar well and she will give you years of joy. She trusts you with all her heart. Never break that trust.

Sugar is so smart. When scared she went for cover from the thunder. I don't blame her thunder can be quite frightening. But mom knew places she may be hiding came looking for her and intently consoled her. Sugar is very smart and I can see her showing more independence. She has a excellent home enviornment and so much love. Sugar is a well adjusted precious cute sweet little girl! I just love Sugar.

Sugar's reactions are normal as she easily found safety. Mom was busy so she found the blankets in the bed when scared. Once mom came in there she felt even better. If not properly cared for she would've been inconsolable and/or would've stopped at NOTHING to find her mom. She loves mom and needs her for many reasons but has a healthy balance of independence that is further developing.
Yes, she like other children (and even me when I was young) was afraid of thunder and loud noises, I'm happy because she knows that she can hide in the blanket and wait for her mother to come ❤️❤️❤️ later I have can feel more secure 💕😊

Yeah she'll get used to it eventually and just know it means time to come inside. It still may scare her a bit but it won't be a huge deal as she gets older.

She's not alone, her dad is watching her with the camera. She was playing outside having fun until the thunder started. Then when it started she knew what to do. Animals (and people) get scared of thunder at times (especially babies). Eventually she'll come to know that it means rain and she's safe inside and get more used to it.

Η αλήθεια είναι ότι στεναχωρέθηκα πάρα πολύ!😢 Φοβήθηκε πάρα πολύ η Sugar τρόμαξε πραγματικά το μωρό μου!😢 Ευτυχώς η μαμά την παρηγόρησε μέχρι που κοιμήθηκε!❤️ Νομίζω όταν ξυπνήσει θα το ξεχάσει εντελώς! Έτρεχε να γλυτώσει ήθελε να κρυφτεί είναι μωρό ακόμα έχει ευαίσθητο ψυχισμό και έχει μάθει στην απόλυτη ηρεμία αυτού του σπιτιού! Ήταν πολύ ξαφνικό για αυτήν! Ναι, όπως τα άλλα παιδιά (ακόμα και εγώ όταν ήμουν μικρός) φοβόταν τις βροντές και τους δυνατούς θορύβους, χαίρομαι γιατί ξέρει ότι μπορεί να κρυφτεί στην κουβέρτα και να περιμένει να έρθει η μητέρα της ❤️❤️❤️ αργότερα έχω μπορεί να νιώθει πιο ασφαλής 💕😊
