Thank god Bill was there to hold the allen key!
🙈 he did help with the top yoke a little bit as well!
Couldn’t find a set of the GSXR forks for mine so I bought a set of ZX9R usd items, don’t suppose you know of anyone that has fitted them to a MK1 bandit.
Cheers Steve
Hi Stephen, I have seen ZX9R forks fitted to a MK1 Bandit but is was many years ago, so it can be done but I can't remember if they used the bandit wheel or the ZX9R one.
Hurry up bandit o’clock!!! Too many days between this hour! Haha
only a couple hours to go! going to do a Facebook live video at 8:45pm this evening just before the video goes up at 9pm
Classic motorbikes the wife and parents took me out for tea, so I’m yet to watch anything! Waiting for that last can of beer st home!
I fucking did it!!!! Thank you for making me cry less :)
Hey Arthur that's great news to hear and I'm so happy the videos have helped, let me know how it goes on the first ride 😎
Starting to look like a bike again now, I've really enjoyed watching you strip and build it
Looking forward to seeing you out n about on it hopefully on video.
I've tried not to use mine over this winter but have managed 1500 miles ..more after a fantastic ride to Devils Bridge today.
Looking forward to next week and hearing this start hopefully, your really lucky to have a MK1 in this condition esp after what you've done to it.
I hope once completed bandit o clock continues with it or another project !
Thanks again Buck.
Hey Buck, good to hear you did 1500 miles in winter, haven't done that many miles in winter for a long time, I can't wait to hear it start myself! I think the plan is to keep everyone updated with the bandit through out the year, I've got an idea for a series that will involve the Bandit but I might have to wait for next year on that one, but I've also got another small project lined up for after this one. 👍
Good work Ian looking great, the first test ride is a daunting experience as i remember once its all done, still i can't wait for the start up.....
Thank you Skoots, I think just riding for the first time in 6 months will be the worst bit! I've got my fingers crossed for the start up
Bill a quiet chap
Great video as always love the front end going to be good seeing it go down the road again
And everyone should have a bill be lost without one haha
Good work Ian and a tip of the hat to bill
Cheers Mikey, I know I would be lost without him even if he just nods his head and holds the Allen keys 😂
I wonder if there is a way to download both series 1 and 2 to keep. Would you guys sell a cd with the footage on it? Strange, I know, but this is stuff Id like to always have for doing future modifications to my bandit. Its like a video shop manual! Let me know what you think.
Hi Joe, interesting idea, I haven't burnt a CD in years! but the videos will always be on youtube, let me see if I can sort something out and will get back to you.
I'd be interested in that as well!
Thanks for the reply :) Let me know if you can do it and we'll get in touch.
Callipers bolted on. lol
I know! Didn't notice until I was on the computer editing Doh!
Awesome!!!
Thanks Thomas 👍
Classic motorbikes fancy building mine next? Haha
