  • We live in a society that paints age as a stigma. Have you ever considered that ageing may not act as a detriment, but an asset? Dr Nancy A. Pachana is a Professor of Clinical Geropsychology in the School of Psychology, and Director of the Healthy Ageing Initiative, at The University of Queensland (UQ), Australia. She is also program lead for UQ’s Age Friendly University Initiative. Her research is well-cited and she maintains a clear international focus in her collaborations and research interests, which include driving safety and dementia, teaching and learning in psychogeriatrics, mental health policy, and more. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at www.ted.com/tedx

We are not the age or any label. We are much more then all these labels. , much more.../ I am so happy with the Bible. it is the most anti ageist booj that I have read. I am not a fundamentalist but find great inspiration in myself, certain portions of the Bible other books and sources. find your inner energies
