I work around fruit trees and I just love pruning different variety of fruit trees! 😊 I recently bought a honey crisp apple tree and I’m excited to prune the tree just the way you guys did on this video. Thank you
You all estimated 1500 apples on the first tree and only removed 250 from the consultant and the owner only removed potential 150 four hundred apples removed and the Cornell gage recommended 200 apples only . You way under pruned according to your own instruction
I'm living in MN (zone 4 B ). I got some Asian pear trees. I watched a lot of clips about pruning. I'm confusing about that. What's different between summer pruning and winter pruning? which one for more fruit and which one for shape
i am from India , here we work on seedlings trees mostly , and Is it true that in European countries use only m9 rootstock for commercial purposes, how about semi vigours rootstock performance .
Alot of cutting but no explanation why they are doing it. Not enough examples. For someone who already does trees it might be fine but this video is not very helpful to a new grower.

Do not prune for shape in winter you will be blessed with (many) waterspouts :)
Where can I get on of those Cornell target gage’s?
