Holy humidifier hell! It looks like no maintenance has ever been done on that thing. Makes me happy with the clean state of all my Lieberts I take care of.
Thanks man I'm actually working on a Emerson libert unit for a computer room....WW HVAC I really enjoy your videos and knowledge of this trade it helps me out a lot and keep doing your thing and I'll keep watching and learning from you...GOD BLESS WW HVAC....showin' luv from TORONTO 100!!!!!
Hello, I have a Liebert device that the set point is at 23 and 12 dew points, the problem is that the humidity is over 70%, the humidity does not drop but the temperature drops to 18 degrees.
There was nothing wrong with that challenger 3000. The reason why your suction pressure came down was because of the solenoid was closing off because of the pump down. And for all displays that look like that (AM/AMG) they passwords are going to be the same.
Did you notice that bottle of R22 in the box next to the unit near the end of the video. He noticed that the sight glass was flashing, unit had low suction pressure and probably added refrigerant to bring up the suction. Don't know if the HG bypass was energized, return air temperature, or compressor amps. But very possible that the LLD is restricted from the previous contractor replacing the compressor and not purging with nitrogen. Also don't know if the condenser has a receiver or uses fan cycling for capacity control. But that unit is not working correctly after his service call.
The unit was off at the disconnect. When he hooked up the gauges he was reading pressures. When turning the disconnect back on the the unit the compressor came on to start/complete the pump down. After the compressor tripped off from the LPS or LPT opening up he looked at the unit display. The display said “unit is off by on/off switch power is on”. This means you have to push that switch to on to start up the unit. He was even scrolling through the settings and found the alarm setting and it even said no alarms. If there was a problem there would been on alarm. After viewing the alarms he attempted to change the set point, thinking if he lowered the set point the unit would come on. You can do that, but you still need to press the on/off switch to start up the unit. Once he came back from the conference call the suction pressure was 67. I don’t know if it was like that before or after the call, but he didn’t mention anything about adding gas, even though he had his scale. Seeing a sight glass flashing doesn’t always mean the unit is low. I have seen sight glasses flash with 22 SC and still flashing. Even the book says don’t charge by sight glass, it is just checking moisture content. What would a receiver do in this case? All a receiver does is allow the TXV to have a full column of liquid/ storage. You mainly see receivers on newer unit like DSE with EEV, this it a old unit. Are you referring to a Lee temp? Totally different from receiver.
The unit communication wasn’t calling . Check if the Units are tied to a building automated system. If the BMS isn’t calling the unit to turn it will keep the solenoid closed. If the leibert unit was off by controlit was turned off by BMS comm most likely.
I'm okay with that.im not an expert on all hvac equipment but I'm not afraid to troubleshoot anything..That video almost a year old and I didn't get a call back..Thanks for watching!
@WWHVAC I agree with the 1st comment, but also respect your attitude. Not claiming to know it all but not letting it stop you. Liebert units are easy once you get used to them, a lot different than working on regular AC only units.
Hey brother I love your videos and what you do, I'm a fellow tech as well...just wanted to let you know something. On the start of the video I hear the "NETFLIX" instrumental and that could possibly become a copyright issue because you used your own title with it. Just something to think about bro
Working on lieberts this week. Just go back to the beginning. Thanks for the journey. Always enjoy your videos.

Were you checking resistance on the fuses when the power was on 🤔
This is first time I see this Unit . I'm working on resident . you did good job ^_^

What is the solution ?
ALARM
VSD Circuit 1 StartUp
Mine is saying “Low suction pressure “
I wonder what that means
Good job man 👍

hola que compatibilidad tienen las tarjetas es decir una LIEBERT ASSY NO. 415761G 2 REV 23 CON UNA LIEBERT ASSY NO. 415761G 4 REV 23 CON UNA
fold the confom 001 Sonsir alarm TO37
Keep giving us the game OG
Good
Most use 123 or 321 as a password 😊
Pls tell the unit password
Don't take this the wrong way, but you don't have a clue on how to work on this unit. You where the wrong tech to send to this call.
Agreed
