Also, for Rule 21 about digging an extra block in mineshafts, I recommend digging *five* blocks every time, and then when you reach the bottom, craft all that cobblestone you got into cobblestone stairs for super speedy movement.
Diamond hoes actually are incredibly useful, especially for chopping trees down in mangrove biomes. You can clear leaves incredibly quickly to get all the logs and with unbreaking 3 they last for ages.
My first netherite tool was a netherite hoe. To be fair, I needed it to plant a big wheat island, approx 500x1000 blocks. It's now one of my favorite places on my family's SMP.
Although it’s not the most wise investment to use your netherite/diamonds for crafting a hoe, there’s been a running joke (+ an achievement) to craft a diamond/netherite hoe first the moment you gather enough for one and even a joke community worshiping the netherite and diamond hoe
diamond hoe one isn't true tho. Better rule would be: learn the basics of stripmining so that an hour after starting to dig, you would craft diamond hoe just because you literally don't have anywhere else to put your diamonds any more

Actually, with the deep dark, hoes are extremely valuable. Breaking shriekers is essential and a silk touch diamond hoe (or netherite) is the best tool to do so. Also, I think bane of arthropods can be useful if you have a cavespider xp farm.
Hoes are the most underrated tool in the game. They mine nether wart blocks, sculk blocks, sponges, leaves, and probably some other stuff I forgot really fast. Plus, if you have the fortune enchantment, hoes will collect more saplings, seeds from grass, and crops
"this has got to be racially motivated" wtf? racist statements in a game where big nosed creatures protected by a golem sell you overpriced items? impossible
9:20 in most cases you should break a spawner. Long term investment? Spawner farms are one of least efficient farms in game. Only place where i see spawner farm is drowned copper farm... Ah wait you can do a trident farm instead. EDIT: for drops i recomend multi level auto mob farm with water bucket dispensers enabling and pushing mobs from platform to death from fall damage or campfires. For xp? Just use enderman or gold farm.
Difference is, for most players general-purpose mob farms are large, expensive, complicated, and require a lot of time and effort to build. However, a skeleton spawner can be converted to a fairly efficient starter XP farm with just 10 minutes of digging and some wood.
enderman farms are one of the simplest farm designs ive encountered. And yes, im talking about the classic best efficiency design, working since 1.9, aka the most complicated one, with 0 requerement to use. for mob drops and xp on begginer level i still recomend running at night or for xp and food build a massive cow/pig farm. spawner farms are outclassed in EVERY single way. However, if youre playing on world with something like silk touch spawners, well, in this very spesific situation spawner farms might be coming close to the traditional farm designs, but still, they will be less efficient. Conclusion: spawner farms are outclassed.
I actually like to leave the bottom-most wood block if its in my forest/tree farm near my base, gives a cool aesthetic of logging stumps. then if i need to plant more because the grown trees are getting too far out or if i need some quick wood then i'll cut stumps and replant. as long as the leaves dont connect to the the stumps they will decay.
As for rule#9 I would recommend Sodium + Starlight for the fabric modloader since it optimizes the game better than Optifine but without changing behavior. It also works better on lower end devices with the only drawbacks being no zoom, shaders or dynamic lights by default. However, there are mods that offer that with much better performance such as lambdynamiclights and Iris Shaders.
I sometimes forget that bridging mechanics are different on Java and Bedrock. In Bedrock, you can bridge facing forward. No need to shift and turn sideways but it is still safer to shift unless you're a speedbridging pro
honestly the rule of never making a diamond hoe just gives way for more reasons to buy diamond hoes from the toolsmith, sure why not get a whole shulker's worth of diamond hoes? they're practically nothing at a certain point
For Rule 6, even if you only have one bucket at that moment, just pick up and put down each axolotl you find one at a time. Doing this prevents them from despawning, so if you put them in a secure pond (one with water but no magma blocks and maybe a fence around it) you can come back for them later! Also, you can rename them without having to use name tags! Just rename the axolotl while they are in a bucket with an anvil.
1.Makes sense. 2. Ironically, beds are good as a makeshift explosive, (Provided you have protection and fire resistance) especially when you are mining for Ancient Debris. 3. Actually, not as true anymore. they're useful for quickly harvesting certain blocks, like hay bales, leaves, nether wart blocks, and especially the Sculk blocks! It's more cost-effective you find one as loot or a Villager trade, though. Plus, you NEED to make a Netherite one if you want the "Serious Dedication Advancement" 4. Well, duh! How else can you get a crafting table to make all your other stuff? 5. No, that's cheating. Plus it defeats the purpose of lighting, nighttime, and discovering caves. And that's not as fun... 6. What if I don't want one...? 7. Eh, a Speedrunner thing, but whatever. 8. This is one I have deep fried into my brain. 9. Later. 10. Dig diagonally instead! 11. And don't half-heart it either by just covering up the top. Fill every last block! 12: Light them on fire instead! But seriously, don't hurt the Villagers at all. Unless it's a Nitwit, torch those on sight! 13: Oh, this is annoying... 14: Sure, that's a quick way to make everyone hate you... 15: Same goes with Cats. 16: Floating treeeeeeeees! 17. It's literally useless, but if you want a Trophy... 18. Not until you're on a 4 block tall pillar first! 19: This applies for Zombie, Skeleton and Blaze Spawners, but...You really wanna put up with a swarm of Cave Spiders/Silverfish/Magma Cubes every 5 seconds!? 21: This actually never occurred to me! But what if you needed to get down quicker? 22: On the other hand, you COULD for some quick demolition... 23: That is, unless you REALLY Hate spiders...Other than that, it's pretty useless. Also, who has beef with Bees?! 24: I mean...if you have them to spare...But yeah, that's a bad idea and you should make your house out of something cheaper. And RENEWABLE. 25: One to live by!
that indeed how it be: 5:54 I was once in a multiplayer survival server with my friends, and after a few weeks of playing, there were hundreds of creeper holes. but here's the worst part, people would just cover up the hole, and not the inside, meaning that next time a creeper blows up there, you would fall all the way down. I legit used xray to find them all, and fill them all up. xD
4:52 OptiFine for just some performance and quality boost, Sodium for *loads* of extra performance (other mods can bring back most of OF's extra features, like shaders, CIT, etc at better performance, so I see very little reason to use OF)
@@zekiz774 While Minecraft has gotten much better performance-wise over the years, it's still a laggy mess for most users. Many people don't have god PCs, and even RUclipsrs and streamers with top of the line machines use performance mods. My PC is pretty damn good (Ryzen 5 5600X & GTX 1650) and even it struggles with high render distances on Vanilla. I will say that I'd agree Optifine specifically is pretty old and unnecessary. It's much better for most users to use Fabric, Sodium, and Starlight. However, some users still find Optifine to be the better option, especially the aforementioned RUclipsrs and streamers. Speedrunners generally use Sodium, though.
Great video! I appreciate the addition of the last rule, considering some people can take block game very seriously. Any way of playing from only creative, to peaceful and keep inventory, to hardcore, to never touching the main game and just going on servers is all valid! I will say, I do like playing minecraft without full bright because I like staring into the yawning darkness of a cave or being able to easily tell if mobs will spawn or not. Plus, it increases my alertness, which I need considering how trash I am at the game. Also staring at endermen can be a safety precaution if you've already glanced at one because if you just stare at their eyes, they don't move. And how could you forget jukeboxes? clearly the most important thing diamonds are used for
Actually diamond hoes are fairly useful now in 1.19.2 that the ancient cities or over all sculk is added. First, it makes good use for getting the exp and also is very quick at getting rid of the sensors and shriekers, could save you from accidental summoning of the Warden.
A really minor unwritten rule I always follow, if you're just after wood to craft something and don't care what kind of wood it is, use birch trees. They grow faster than oak, and don't have the chance to turn into the annoying gigachad tall trees with branches that are exceptionally annoying to cut down properly. I've seen so many early game tree farms be slow and inefficient because they get the tall trees that need climbing in to cut them down or just burning. Birch bois solve that problem. Same with dark oak, since the tree is wide enough that you can spiral up them to make sure you get every log. Not to even mention that birch + dark oak is a really nice-looking contrast for builds.
Cinder you forgot one for the bed wars sweats “Always breezily bridge even if they do it slower than speed bridging and spamming ‘l bozo ez’ when they beat you Also, I’m so glad you came back doing RUclips :D

I know we love to meme about it and most people will be fine by accident anyway but seriously if you're considering getting cracked at any game check out that wrist health guide. And use common sense.
The point about not using diamonds on a hoe is outdated as of 1.16 which came out 2 years ago. In 1.16, hoes were updated so they could break certain blocks faster, at the time being leaves, sponges (very useful before you kill all the elder guardians), hay bales (speedrun strats), and the wart blocks. In 1.19 it is now able to break sculk based blocks faster, potentially saving you from a warden
The obvious best use for the dragon egg is to dupe it as much as possible and coat your friend’s house with them. Then just sit back and enjoy the show
A diamond hoe is one of the best things to spend your diamonds on.. A diamond sword, pick, armor, etc can all be got from villager trades, whereas a hoe cannot, plus with the last couple of updates adding more and more blocks which the hoe breaks very fast such as leaves, shroomlights, nether trees, etc, they are very useful. Couples tips: If you accidentally look at an enderman and are unprepared, keep looking at him, and he won't attack you until you look away, so just back away to safety. When you get to the bottom of your mineshaft, use a stonecutter to craft stairs with the stone you just mined, this will save you lots of time and stamina in the long run.
I would sooner make a diamond hoe than a netherite shovel. Netherite shovels are actually the only tool that would be cheaper if it just used the normal recipe format, just replacing the diamond when you're crafting it with a netherite ingot. Not only a waste of an ingot, but a diamond too.
With rule 5. I'm pretty sure in the more recent updates the game automatically lowers your gamma back down to 100 if it goes over so fullbright is needed instead.
You can capture a zombie and then use it to threaten the villagers into giving you better deals. If they won't trade you an emerald for one stick, well, just zombify them for a little while, then when you feel they have learnt their lesson cure them with a golden apple. Repeat this process until they fear you so much that they will essentially give you all of their trades for free.
Rule #5 There is a config literally named "Dinamic light" and you can use it to put torches on your off hand idk abt bedrock but this is how it works on java Rule #23 Bane is really good in mods that add mobs or a freaking spider infestation in some dungeons. Killing spiders in 1 hit with bane 1 instead of 2 hits with sharpness 1 actually helps. Also some mods make the enemies life bigger dunno
Always dig a 1 by 2 wide tunnel straight down, because that isn't as dangerous, and you can put a ladder on the side and water at the bottom. it's far more efficient to mine, ladders are cheap, and you can fall the whole way down really quick if you want.
i'll need to check it out, thanks :D the reason i mentioned optifine was bc its already bundled with popular clients like Lunar and Badlion which requires little to no user setup, but you're right there are definitely a lot of great options out there for minecraft optimization :D

I agree with a lot of the rules plus it’s also common sense when you are experienced with the game it self. But, for all the newbies I would suggest my take on these rules, okay let’s just start off with rules that I believe that should be changed/altered within this video. Rule number 5, yes changing your gamma will allow you to see at night time but you are literally editing the game files to see full brightness. A lot of og Minecraft players will just bring their brightness all the way up in the game settings, this will allow players to see in caves and also if they need to light up their house or anything. If players want to see fully without editing the game files there is night vision potions that does exactly the same. Let’s dive into the next rule that I don’t fully disagree but there is better options, and that is rule number 9. Optifine does help with performance but there is a lot of other mods that does ten times better. For example, Sodium. Yes it’s not really built into famous clients yet but if you truly want the best performance, you will go out of your way and install it just like other people installing Optifine by itself. Anyways, rule number 19, it’s pretty straight and forward. If you want an early xp farm you shouldn’t destroy the spawner, in terms of long term an enderman farm or blaze farm will be more beneficial.
Full Bright is for noobs. I started in alpha. When worlds were pitch dark at night where you could only see with torches was awesome. I personally think modern day Minecraft is too bright at night. I wish there was an option for it to be in modern day Minecraft versions
Preach it king! I also want an option for the world to look like a horror game. I guess I could just play old minecraft versions but then I have to give up some vital features.
@@SubToCinder moody in newer versions of minecraft is nothing like moody in older versions, back then it felt like playing a horror game, it made you feel like the night time is a dangerous time of day and you should avoid it
For rule 1, speedbridging is really good and not too hard to learn. If you're a bedwars player, then I would highly recommend it. It tooks me 3 days of practicing 30mins a day to get down, and making rushing easier.
disagree w the diamond hoe. since the updates made it so its the fastest tool for mining many things (sculk, wart/fungus blocks, haybales, etc.) and you can get way more crops with a fortune hoe, I'd say it's worth the diamonds if you have enough to do so. :D
After 1.16 hoes are actually pretty useful for breaking some organic blocks (leaves, warped/nether wart blocks, hay bales, etc) so Rule #3 no longer really applies. Diamond hoes are nice.
honestly i like digging straight down. it's actually really unlikely that you choose a random spot to start digging and ending up falling in lava. though in early game i dig straight down up until 30-25 height and then i start digging in 2x1. in late game id really care cus i could survive for like half an hour in a lava lake with my full netherite with prot 4 and totems and all of that op stuff lol
that's valid!! personally i've fallen straight into lava too many times so i use your 2x1 tactic often but you can do whatever you want in minecraft :))
okay just a "little" fix to your video : DO NOT EVER USE OPTIFINE Optifine really is just bad, and you can't prove it otherwise, its becoming extremely outdated, it messes up a lot of mods just for them existing and just using fabric with sodium and iris does the same as optifine but just better in every way (exept for the configuration settings, those are really needed for fabric). i highly recommend trying to find alternative instead of using this aging, rotting garbage. don't even use this in -1.13 (fabric and sodium are 1.14+), because mods + optifine is equal to a lot of stuff breaking or even crashes, the thing optifine is meant to avoid... even if you are in -1.13, these versions aren't very intensive on your gpu unlike the newer ones, so theres no point in it, and if you want shaders (and who the hell plays with shaders on anyway ?), install it for a quick thumbnail or smt for your video im guessing and uninstall it, its not that hard to understand how optifine is really bad (seriously, optifine is just bad, don't use that)
fair point, although ngl a lot of people use optifine for playing with shaders (even the PvP community uses shaders like Sildur's Basic or Jeezet Blur) or for tweaking settings on low-end computers to boost the performance of the game. After all, not everyone has the specs that can run -1.13 versions smoothly- just a couple years ago when my setup consisted of a $300 laptop, i was only able to run Minecraft 1.8.9 above 60fps with optifine 😱 i do agree that optifine isn't ABSOLUTELY mandatory to have a fun time on Minecraft, but again these rules are just a general recommendation for having a good and optimal time on the game! Thank you for the feedback and thanks for watching!! :))))
Optifine is not "just bad", it is true that Sodium and other fps mods for fabric are better at optimizing fps in minecraft, but optifine is a good alternative. I enjoy using optifine for the customization, it also gives a nice fps boost even on the higher end of machines. For example on my rtx2060 (which I would call a decently good gpu, not the best but in the higher range of gpus), gets more fps from using optifine even in 1.8.9. Also optifine has all the features in one (shader, fps boost, etc) and it supports custom models in resource packs. You should not hate on something if you find something other better. Everyone has their opinions, but minecraft is a great game bc you can play it however you want. You can add and remove mods to your own liking. While sodium is in paper a better alternative if purely looking at perfomance boost, optifine does a fine job as well.
I break the brightness rule all the time. Nights and caves are supposed to be dark. It really points out that nights and caves can, and will be dangerous, and shouldn't be taken lightly. Especially in the early game when you haven't gotten your hands on armor yet. It also makes certain builds look absolutely STUNNING at night when it's all lit up.
I agree. For most players playing survival I would recommend *against* using fullbright. Taking away darkness just ruins a whole aspect of the experience. Creative builders? Speedrunners? SMP staff? Running events? Fullbright all the way. Survival? Hardcore? Adventure map? Normal brightness. Horror map? *Really* hardcore? Moody brightness. Use what makes sense at the time, just don't use fullbright for everything.
I started watching and my first thought was: "Where have I heard this person before?". then I remembered and thought: "This is the guy who made the ''If Apple made a minecraft client' video"
2:56 well i agree with just about everything else in the video. (and it was great btw. :D) that's one is definitely not one. and is considered an exploit depending on who you ask.
My thoughts and/or personal experiences with the rules: 1. Speedbridging led to the Shitass meme in late 2020. Admittedly, it was one of my favorites of the year. 2. I once built apartments in the Nether for friends once, leaving chests of goodies and beds for comfort. A friend then said, "Uh, you know that you can't sleep in the Nether, right?" and then set off one of the beds, destroying a part of my work. 3. I've never built a Diamond Hoe, but if a Toolsmith is selling one you better believe I'm buying one and slapping Mending on it! 4. With the exception of dirt for climbing purposes, I think I've instinctively harvested wood as my first action in every single world I've made. 5. I actually don't like turning up the gamma too much. I like knowing where dark spots are so I know if a mob will spawn or not...and I want the thrill of wandering through a spooky cave or forest. 6. Axolotls helped me slay an Elder Guardian, so I will definitely scoop them up when I have the chance! 7. Ah yes, the ultimate way to travel through Nether tunnels! Just make sure you have a stack of bread or carrots! 8. I'll never forget my first little cave house. After coming off of years of playing Splinter Cell, I didn't want my house to be bright; I wanted it to be dim. I then saw a Creeper spawn in my house, and I frantically had to dig my way out (as I blocked off the entrance with dirt for extra security). Now I know to use slabs to achieve this effect! 9. I've mostly played on console, so I can't use Optifine. But the one time I tried Vivecraft, I was blown away by having a lit torch in my hand. 10. It takes just one bad drop to never forget this rule. 11. I've always reflexively filled in Creeper holes. It just looks awful. 12. I cannot tell you how many times those irksome, empty headed villagers have crossed my path when I'm mining something nearby, only for every iron golem to use me as their own personal hacky sack. 13. I'm always paranoid about some animal coming and hop stomping all over my crops, so I make sure no animals can ever climb/fall in and no mobs spawn. 14. The SMP I was a part of wasn't exploded, but just plainly restarted. Boring. 15. When I was showing my ex the game, I told her, "Tame with the left trigger." She proceeds to use right trigger, punches the wolf, and immediately gets swarmed. 16. If farming wood, I usually plant Birch Trees because in addition to being able to plant them in grids, they grow straight up and never require climbing to get the top log. I tend not to farm Oak Trees because of the logs that branched off the main trunk. 17. I've only been involved with killing the Ender Dragon once in an SMP...but you bet I'll bring that egg back when I finally free The End! 18. Never look them in the eye...at least, not until you've secured yourself in a 1x2 tunnel so you can smack its knees. 19. I love setting up passive XP farms with spawners. I use a Redstone Lamp to control when I want it active or not. I need to remember that I can let the spawner hover to maximize the water flow... 20. I love you too. I hope you're doing okay. =) 21. That extra headspace makes traveling down shafts that much better. Bonus points if you take the time to dig it out to look like a large cavern. 22. I've never spawned the Wither outside of Creative as I've rarely encountered Wither Skeletons (I haven't been in many Fortresses since their spawn rate was increased), and I'm too chicken to do so at this point (where is the safest place to spawn them, anyway?). 23. Come to think of it, I haven't seen Bane of Arthropod much... 24. I don't think I've even clustered diamonds into blocks even for storage purposes... 25. I'm sure there are things I do that drive other players up the wall...but that's their issue, not mine!
Little funny coincidence: I was scrolling through amazon prime looking for something to watch while the intro played in the background, and I hovered my mouse over "Initial D" (a racing anime) and at that exact moment the sound at 0:34 played. And I though it was a car revving lol. That's all, have a good day

This is something I did not know I needed but will gladly take. I wish my friends listened to rule 15… they recorded a video of them killing my dog and showed it to me. Actually they break a lot of those rules you mentioned. The floating trees… the creeper holes… torchless houses… How does one get revenge on someone for being annoying, any tips? 😈
what to do with a dragon egg? if you place a oak wood planks next to your bed it looks like a little night stand. if you place a dragon egg on that night stand and put a frog light block on top of the dragon egg it looks like and functions as a lamp.
wow didnt expect to find a gem in the newest filter however i have found myself crafting hoes more often now to remove leaves and when farming xp on the deep dark so thats that
4:11 that's fine on modern versions because of the reworked hunger system but on 1.8 that will drain your hunger pretty fast and on bedrock edition it will drain it in a matter of seconds
On rule 1, in bedrock edition you can actually look right at the edge of a block and place a block without even looking at the side of the block you’re standing on. If you get good at this you can run while placing a bridge in front of you… that’s my definition of speed bridging!

For xp? Just use enderman or gold farm.
yes
I actually like to leave the bottom-most wood block if its in my forest/tree farm near my base, gives a cool aesthetic of logging stumps. then if i need to plant more because the grown trees are getting too far out or if i need some quick wood then i'll cut stumps and replant. as long as the leaves dont connect to the the stumps they will decay.
i do exactly the same thing
interesting
As for rule#9 I would recommend Sodium + Starlight for the fabric modloader since it optimizes the game better than Optifine but without changing behavior. It also works better on lower end devices with the only drawbacks being no zoom, shaders or dynamic lights by default. However, there are mods that offer that with much better performance such as lambdynamiclights and Iris Shaders.

2.

Exactly what I was thinking.
Doing this also frees them from the mob cap, allowing more axolotls to spawn!
Plus, you NEED to make a Netherite one if you want the "Serious Dedication Advancement"
25: One to live by!
that indeed how it be: 5:54
I was once in a multiplayer survival server with my friends, and after a few weeks of playing, there were hundreds of creeper holes. but here's the worst part, people would just cover up the hole, and not the inside, meaning that next time a creeper blows up there, you would fall all the way down. I legit used xray to find them all, and fill them all up. xD
I broke rule 12 already multiple times because everytime I see a village that village will be terminated. All villagers will die.
4:52 OptiFine for just some performance and quality boost, Sodium for *loads* of extra performance (other mods can bring back most of OF's extra features, like shaders, CIT, etc at better performance, so I see very little reason to use OF)
Just wanted to write that. In modern versions of Minecraft there's no reason to use optifine anymore.

"Never destroy mob spawners"--unless it's a Cave Spider spawner. Dealing with poison while you're otherwise fighting for your life is a hassle.
i mean they are 1-0.5-1 and can climb on walls thats hell to farm more so with the poison
so thats fair.
First, it makes good use for getting the exp and also is very quick at getting rid of the sensors and shriekers, could save you from accidental summoning of the Warden.
you know when cinder uploads its a fantastic day

Cinder you forgot one for the bed wars sweats “Always breezily bridge even if they do it slower than speed bridging and spamming ‘l bozo ez’ when they beat you

It needs to be said (about the little joke at 1:23) - take actual ACTIVE care of your wrist whenever you're doing anything that requires intense mouse usage in gaming. I've had 3 injuries and even though the last one was about 2-3 years ago, it still affects my day to day life.
In 1.19 it is now able to break sculk based blocks faster, potentially saving you from a warden
make a gold hoe then, its faster i think

TYSM man im glad you noticed!! trying to make every video better and better so im glad it paid off :))
Couples tips:
If you accidentally look at an enderman and are unprepared, keep looking at him, and he won't attack you until you look away, so just back away to safety.
When you get to the bottom of your mineshaft, use a stonecutter to craft stairs with the stone you just mined, this will save you lots of time and stamina in the long run.
You forgot rule 34
How many rules are there
who's gonna tell bro😭
I would sooner make a diamond hoe than a netherite shovel. Netherite shovels are actually the only tool that would be cheaper if it just used the normal recipe format, just replacing the diamond when you're crafting it with a netherite ingot. Not only a waste of an ingot, but a diamond too.
With rule 5. I'm pretty sure in the more recent updates the game automatically lowers your gamma back down to 100 if it goes over so fullbright is needed instead.
Diamond Hoes, and Netherite ones as well are incredibly useful for Mining large areas using Moss Blocks.
2:30 That got me FR lol
You can capture a zombie and then use it to threaten the villagers into giving you better deals. If they won't trade you an emerald for one stick, well, just zombify them for a little while, then when you feel they have learnt their lesson cure them with a golden apple. Repeat this process until they fear you so much that they will essentially give you all of their trades for free.
Rule #5 There is a config literally named "Dinamic light" and you can use it to put torches on your off hand
idk abt bedrock but this is how it works on java
Rule #23 Bane is really good in mods that add mobs or a freaking spider infestation in some dungeons. Killing spiders in 1 hit with bane 1 instead of 2 hits with sharpness 1 actually helps.
Also some mods make the enemies life bigger dunno
Great editing!

Always dig a 1 by 2 wide tunnel straight down, because that isn't as dangerous, and you can put a ladder on the side and water at the bottom. it's far more efficient to mine, ladders are cheap, and you can fall the whole way down really quick if you want.
I AGREE i use the 1x2 tunnel method all the time :D
I never heard of rule 5 and I also prefer to craft torches so that I can find my way back out of a cave and in my opinion it just looks better

I guess I could just play old minecraft versions but then I have to give up some vital features.
that's fair! if you want a darker nighttime experience, i would highly recommend setting your brightness to "Moody" in the settings :D
@@SubToCinder i have it on moody. Still too bright lol!
@@SubToCinder yeah, that's the great thing about minecraft, the freedom of choice the player has :)
Also new rule, dont turn your diamonds tools or armor to netherite before max enchanting it, well if you like to reroll the ench table :)
Why do you sound so tired man?
heard Fearless Flyers - Assassin being used as bgm in one of the sections of the video. Instantly Subscribed.
okay just a "little" fix to your video :
DO NOT EVER USE OPTIFINE
Optifine really is just bad, and you can't prove it otherwise, its becoming extremely outdated, it messes up a lot of mods just for them existing and just using fabric with sodium and iris does the same as optifine but just better in every way (exept for the configuration settings, those are really needed for fabric). i highly recommend trying to find alternative instead of using this aging, rotting garbage. don't even use this in -1.13 (fabric and sodium are 1.14+), because mods + optifine is equal to a lot of stuff breaking or even crashes, the thing optifine is meant to avoid... even if you are in -1.13, these versions aren't very intensive on your gpu unlike the newer ones, so theres no point in it, and if you want shaders (and who the hell plays with shaders on anyway ?), install it for a quick thumbnail or smt for your video im guessing and uninstall it, its not that hard to understand how optifine is really bad
(seriously, optifine is just bad, don't use that)
fair point, although ngl a lot of people use optifine for playing with shaders (even the PvP community uses shaders like Sildur's Basic or Jeezet Blur) or for tweaking settings on low-end computers to boost the performance of the game.
While sodium is in paper a better alternative if purely looking at perfomance boost, optifine does a fine job as well.
yeah but hear me out
optifine zoom
@@StalinkTz there are plenty of mods out there that allow for u to zoom using a keybind
@@Skyymon name one pls lol that's the only reason why i use optifine
Use what makes sense at the time, just don't use fullbright for everything.

rule #21; don't kill every passive mob, passives are more rare than hostile ones
real
My thoughts and/or personal experiences with the rules:
6:49 made me laugh so hard omigosh
Little funny coincidence: I was scrolling through amazon prime looking for something to watch while the intro played in the background, and I hovered my mouse over "Initial D" (a racing anime) and at that exact moment the sound at 0:34 played. 4:11 that's fine on modern versions because of the reworked hunger system but on 1.8 that will drain your hunger pretty fast and on bedrock edition it will drain it in a matter of seconds
Really appreciate the humor bro this was really enjoyable
On rule 1, in bedrock edition you can actually look right at the edge of a block and place a block without even looking at the side of the block you’re standing on. If you get good at this you can run while placing a bridge in front of you… that’s my definition of speed bridging!
