Marriott's Great America (Santa Clara, California)

from the Super 8 film archives... a look back at the past... when Great America was still Marriott's and America was still Great. Here it was when it was just a few years new, surrounded by empty fields... and when the long lost San Jose alternative Frontier Village was still around.
Minor post edit correction... credits reference "San Jose" but the park is actually in Santa Clara... and the year (help owed to comments) between 1980 and 1981.
