I think as a youngster he didnt want to be associated with all that came with his rich parents which is no big deal but still would be annoying to be pidgeonholded your whole life. He probably doesn't have very many close friends becsause it would be hard to differenciate real people from people who just like you because you are famous. Also unfortunately delt with alcoholism which I know is debilitating and it never really leaves you. I sure hope he is okay. He seems like a really cool dude and his music has entertained me for the past 15 years.
