I was waiting for this one, I watched his performance on tv and I knew you were going to make a video on it. Also your dribbling courses are great, I can't wait for the receiving one🙌
I feel like declan rice deserves a video aswell especially his fefensive performance attacking wide england was terrible in their match against Serbia but rice,s defensive skills and interceptions were crazy
Yesss, Best is a very unique one because he does not have crazy muscles (he has super small calves😂) and surprisingly he's kinda underweight being 65 kgs, intrested to see how he uses his body against big players
@@chasingmypotential Saka and Jude did very well at taking players on with speed and driving towards the goal. Rice did good at possessing the ball and pairing very well with Jude. Sadly I was unable to watch the game today tho
I use them all the time. You basically touch the ball a little bit away from your body to make your opponent think they can win it, then once you think they'll commit to the tackle, you stretch to do a cut turn or just toe it away from them. Sometimes, the setup can also happen unintentionally if you're a fast player, whereby when you beat a man, the second opponent moves in to tackle, and you can then beat him with a stretch touch. The stretch touch itself is kind of like taking a big step or lunge to the ball to cut it or toe it away from your opponent from a position where the ball is too far away from you to do a normal touch. In order to get more reach, your rear foot often slides along the floor on your toes and upper outside part of your foot until you transfer your weight back to your front stretching foot. I first started doing it instinctively without realising, and I used to wonder why the toe and upper part of my boots/futsal shoes would get so scraped up on my weak foot side. That's when I realised that I drag/slide that foot along the ground when I'm stretching to cut or touch balls that I can't reach with a normal standing touch.
How do you train to identify such subtle cues instinctually ? like i know playing more 3v3 or 4v4 matches would help improve it but i need something I can do on a daily basis by myself. Great vid btw and Thank you 🙏
Great question, we’re building something out that will help with the training aspect of this (like a quiz type of thing to spot the cues ect) as this is the first thing spotting them and then being able to translate what they mean (what options you now have)
I knew he was going to make this one 😂 well deserved musiala was outstanding
Had to be done !

@@chasingmypotential yeah everyone has their own ways but i managed to do it 1 time
ik this is off topic whats your opinion on ronaldos recent performance vs czechia, did he perform alright?
can you explain more about stretch touches ???
All fully systemised in the elite level dribbling guide, it would be impossible to get it all across in a paragraph

Sorry but maybe you wear the same colour huddy in all videos😅 maybe it's your favorite colour

He’s the closest thing to Messi
Especially with the successive touches as he runs with the ball
