I watched Narcos for 3rd time and couldn't get over it!!!!!! And truly enjoyed it again and on and on again!!!!!!. I never get bored or tired of the series. I won't stop watching it!!!!!!.
I don't get how the Cali Cartel brothers have to serve only 30 years and La Quica has to serve 10 life sentences and 45 years, correct me if I'm wrong.
I think it has to do with the fact, that Cali Cartel brother were charged for being drug lords and for money laundering, but La Quica was a murderer, one of Escobar's top personal scicarios (hitmen), he killed dozens of innocent people. There's a bigger sentence for being a murderer than for having a drug imperium. But I'm not sure, I may be wrong, it does seem odd to say the least.
He was wanted for many, many murders...the Cali Cartel had a shit load of people under them who conducted hits, so it was very difficult to pin it on the bosses, they needed proof, whereas with La Quica, he was very well known by Columbian police and they had shit loads of evidence.

In an interview for a Colombian TV program he was unable to express in Spanish, and the producer of the show hired a translator to translate from Spanish to Portuguese.
It was for legal reasons. They had to kill off a few characters in the show who didn't die in real life because the show could effect their real life's. Something like that I'm not 100% sure why but it's definitely to do with legal reasons.
Brooke Clover | so that it's obvious she's a character and she cannot sue for wrong reputation damage. They can simply say, it's not you, our character died. Unlike convicted people, her role in Pablo's business is more ambiguous, so it's not all hard facts.
