@@brandyc9645 Sugar/Gumpaste flowers are really expensive whether the baker buys them or makes them by hand, so generally if you're looking to save on costs, inedible fake flowers look just as nice for a better price. I personally can count 12 flowers on that cake, all of which are very full and intricate. To recreate that effect using sugar flowers, it would probably cost $10-$15 per flower, which adds anywhere from $120-$180, which doesn't seem like a lot until you realize that that's _just_ the decorations. Yes, you can eat them but they don't usually taste very good and a lot of people just keep them as mementos lol

This is so beautiful!! 😍 This is giving me a bit of inspiration to absolutely go off the normal wedding style of “white and floral”..I was thinking about doing a blue dress to match my boyfriend’s dress blues honestly; he’s also allergic to pollen and flowers so I’ve been thinking of doing something other than a traditional flower Bouquet as well but I haven’t decided what yet. We aren’t engaged yet but I can’t help but plan ahead a bit! I’m just really excited and keep seeing wedding stuff like this pop up

Gorgeous work as always. I feel Dom trepidation when working with black icing due to the fact that It may turn your teeth black. Learned this when a customer at Walmart bakery yelled at me (back when I used to decorate there as a kid) for her Halloween black icing cupcake order turning her teeth darker than the night itself. 😂 after that my managers banned the icing colors that stained teeth the most.
