A great interview. Eric is an awesome game designer and I agree, Chaos in the Old World is a master piece. I was hoping you would ask him about Cthulhu: Death May Die. Another classic design of his.
It's interesting -- two games cannot be a "trend" but his two latest games makes me wonder if he's become interested in designing games that take hobbyist game mechanics to casual/family audiences.
I'm sure it was probably due to time reasons, but I would have loved to hear some of his thoughts on A Song of Ice and Fire: the miniatures game, I've been playing and collecting it for five years now and it's a better ranks and flanks game than warhammer ever was....
Big love to warhammer conquest, the card game that got me to love card games. It may have been snowbally as hell but no other game sold me the feeling of a long protracted campaign like conquest did.
What a great interview, Eric was really interesting.
Totally agree, was awesome to hear from Eric!
Great interview! What a coup to be able to speak to such a prominent designer and learn about his approach to crafting games.
Cheers Tom, I was really pleased Eric was up for a chat!
That Slaanesh faction in the expansion to CitOW was brutal
Wonderful interview!
Great to see THE Man. We want reprint of chaos in the oldworld :./ Pleaaaaaaase
Great interview, Jordan! As wannabe game designer myself it's great to hear Eric discuss his creative process!

Eric is a modern legend, he’s thoughts on design are very interesting
Shoutout to all the other “background percolators” who now feel seen & understood! ❤❤❤
