Clear water doesn't always mean clean water. This water here is full of tannin, oxygen, good bacteria etc etc Just doesn't look nice to us humans in a tank. It's the toxic impurities and certain metals they don't like.
Wish you could film the night catcmnent site in daylight,. It would be nice to see discus in an rocky biotope. I sopppuse hose are volcanic rocks, right?
Terrible ! These rookie divers scared fishes and disturbed baby fishes. They caught discus but water was shallow for them. I hope these rookies wont dive there again !!!!

get black water extract, some bog wood or kattapa leafs turns your water brown they love it
