Guys i only just found this out and I beat him on my first approach after that -when you dodge don't dodge in any direction just press dodge button without moving analogue sticks. Wukong will dodge pretty much ANY attack. You're welcome

Some fights in this game are really cool some are just annoying cause you cant win them unless you got certain items or or builds, as great as the game is as much does it meh sometimes sadly imo. played all ds, elden ring and demon souls, liked the blancing a bit more. This boss is my fav so far. I mastered the art of dodging because of him. I feel like once you master, the game becomes so much fun. I managed to kill the chapter boss on the 3rd attempt after I learned his moves. I love when devs had a skill-check wall. I strongly recommend using this boss to learn perfect dodges. It took me like 15 tries :D
You can say that again. Thanks to Tiger Vanguard, I honed my dodging skill a lot with him. It is about understanding attack pattern and timing. Also I can say, I learned how to fight myself, not to put many attack and know when to stop.

Tried 42 times and still hadn't beaten him. Tried this method 12 times and failed. Ended up using Wemod, which still took 4 tries. Guess I'm just shit, or this boss is really really hard. Doesn't feel very fulfilling to use cheats, but I have never been good at video games, and this was just too much for me. Still thank you!
Great guide but still git walloped every time. Game sucks, stupid af. Literally not worth the stress. Going to delete the pile of shite. Must of tried every guide and this seems like the best but I still can't do it, time to get rid of the garbage. Worse than anything I've play on any Souls game.

Cannot stress just how important that first hit is! As soon as he moves, let it go and smash his face, tap tap cloud step! Works with the stone boss as well

Yes it’s still possible. You may need to add more points on “spiritual awakening” for more mana if you haven’t maxed that out yet. Also look around for celestial meds that give mana
yo is there any way to change my relic option? I picked opportune watcher instead of Eagle eye when I first got the relic and now I don't know how to change it back

Thank you! I learned through screwing up a few times that with this setup (excluding gear and stone), that if you keep your far distance, he takes a while to attack. After using cloud steps and the pluck of monkeys and ability, i kept my distance, charged up 3 bars of the triangle attack and it took like 4 solid hits once hes half health. Damn this one was annoying haha. Stone and other stone bosses were easier
@@logix8055 I'm just someone who keeps repeating till the point where the hard guys are like kicking rabid Chihuahuas then I know I can fight cujo (the bosses).I don't run through games,i build my character & look through every nook & cranny, which is why I didn't go any further until I beat the big headed blue baby & then I moved along.Now I'm trying to beat the electric boar whose waves kill me in a second but got everything else.Tje funny part is I hate dark souls games but can't stop playing this.lol

You could try farming more levels and upgrade your mana.
