Thank you for explaining. This myth feels abstract to me still, but I'll bear it in mind when I read about Rohini. Makes sense why Rohini is Fixed > Sweet, given Brahma's intention to create a stable, self-propagating product.
Given the amount of times Brahma had to rethink his strategy, it feels like Rohini has to learn, in order to express itself better. Creation without intellect is just destruction- it cannot last. Even the daughter (Goddess of Words/Education) that he created and then wanted to marry...it sounds like he wants to marry his own vocabulary/labels/mental constructs, in order to verbalize the nuances in his head better, thus making future creation easier. But an over-attachment to one's words/thoughts hampers true creation and thus it wasn't a true pairing.
A lot of books mention the "struggle" part of the creative process...before you reach the end of the road, there are labor pains to birth out the final idea. Due to this, I can see some parallel to Bharani too. It sounds like Brahma was looking for discernment (in order to decide on proper creations), which Yama could fulfill more than words/knowledge can.

This gave me goosebumps because I have been driven through the abyss for the last few years to integrate and become that which abides there. …in Rohini…in the abyss. I am a Rohini Moon 💜 beautifully said and explained, you are incredibly wise :) Rohini's story is so beautiful and soulfully resonant with me, and though I know I am incredibly creative and passionate and I guess- 'beautiful' as Rohini is described I find it so hard to see it in myself, and watching videos like these really helps me to cultivate that self love I need to be the me I need to be to fulfil my true nature.
It's been a long journey to even consider myself as Rohini- when I first entered the realm of vedic astrology, I was apparently a Krittika Moon. I felt a fire in my soul about Vedic Astrology but the descriptions of Krittika were so vague and far away from me, it made me sorta frustrated and disinterested especially since your Moon Nakshatra is the deepest part of yourself- it just never clicked right even if some underlying qualities of Krittika (like the element of nurturing and creative energy) made sense. Eventually I found out about other Nakshatras and specifically Rohini nakshatra, and I felt an intuitive knowing in my gut that this was my Nakshatra- everything about it speaks to me and the few things that I related to about Krittika such as the nurturing quality and creativity, were even more pronounced in Rohini.
Then I had the issue- okay I feel in my gut and in my soul I am Rohini, everything about it resonates with me from the deep things such as my life experiences, to the more mundane like what colours I like- but why and how? How can I be this Nakshatra when it clearly says I'm not? Is it just wishful thinking of some kind? (which I did wonder and worry about a lot but the thing is, it wouldn't make sense because I would be honoured to be a Krittika native also, it is such a powerful and beautiful Nakshatra too but it's just that I genuinely feel little to no connection to it).
It took months of searching and weighing things out, balancing out all the possibilities (I have Swati ascendant, haha) and since I am late Krittika, I mean very late being 8 degrees Taurus when Rohini starts at 10, I did wonder if maybe I just related more since I am so close to Rohini but still something in me was like no, Rohini is my star. I may not know why and this is all very very frustrating- but I know.
Eventually I discovered Ayanamsa and to my delight found that in almost half of the options for Ayanamsa (Surya Sri Siddhanta, Raman, ect) I am indeed Rohini. A lot of people tried to sway me though saying Lahiri can't be wrong or trying to convince me that I must be wrong but this was a good confirmation for me.
Then the next question was, well, if I am Rohini because of the presence of Ayanamsa confirming that my intuition is not just some weird outlier and I really am Rohini as I felt inside, which one is right??
This one was hard- I found that when I used these Ayanamsas that make me Rohini on other people, oftentimes it didn't quite fit and things like that- so what's the answer? How can I be Rohini?
I think the truth is that it doesn't matter- I for whatever reason, even if it's just a strange and mystical truth, am Rohini, I just know and feel it and while I can't EXACTLY tell you why, I just am and there is enough evidence to prove it.
As a student of the Stars also, after what I've been through as well as my esoteric beliefs, I want to show people the importance of intuition in astrology and following your heart above all. There may be one Ayanamsa that is right or maybe there isn't, but if you are passionate and keen minded your intuition will tell you when you're reading a chart (especially you're own), and there is something that doesn't quite fit, and you should totally follow that inner knowing 💜💜
I feel like ardra nakshatra evan tho technically im a rohini. And like you i intuitively feel like ardra to a soul level and i can't explain why specifically, somewhat of a convoluted situation.

Rohini nakshatra is a fixed (druva) nakshatra , hence activities started under this Nakshatra provide long lasting results.
Being Upward in disposition activities started under this nakshatra experience growth and progress with time.
Lying entirely in the sign of Taurus , it is also good for trading and financial activities.

Every night I listen to audio books before sleep.. and you have one of the best voices I have ever listened so far for b story telling. The story is beautifully told and your tone of voice is calming... soothing. Maybe you could consider doing this in a future if it's something that interests you.
I do have a simple question since I'm more familiar with western Astrology but not so much (if not at all) on Vedic astrology.
Can Rohini aspects can also be applied on Western astrology? ... I have Rohini conjunct my Sun in Western astrology.

You don't have Sun conjunct Rohini. Rohini is a Nakshtra, which is a division of the sky in 27 parts. Just like the Zodiac signs.
So it's the same as saying you have Sun conjunct Gemini or Taurus.
Your Sun is IN Rohini, not conjunt :)
What happened to the progeny of Rudra and Shakti? Did they become Asuras?

+MrBum Prajāpati Dakṣa was made the chief Prajāpati by Brahmā, the original Prajāpati, after Brahmā created the 12 prajāpati, Śatarupā and Svāyambhuva Manu - the two of whom produced 12 women via their daughters and granddaughters, who married the Prajāpatis, including Dakṣā.
It is true that Dakṣā is an expert at, and quite preoccupied with, sex.
This is the version described in Bhāgavatam Canto 3.

Sir, do u use Rahu as Atmakaraka? There is debate about this. I'm Scorpio(Anuradha) lagna with Rohini Moon in 7th house. If Rahu is not used as karaka, than Moon is my Atma.
I dont use ANY Jaimini principles. One should not deal with Jaimini until after Parashara is mastered.

If a moon is debilitated in Scorpio, but in Rohini Nakshatra could it manifest that frustration more than the other qualities? (This is regarding a physically abusive person I'm trying to figure out)
It's not possible how can moon in Scorpio be in rohini. Moon is exalted in rohini, Taurus
