For me as a ramp agent it depends sometimes I work 8 hours”until my last flight” or 10 hours “until my last flight” Working in the airline business is really fun there’s a lot of downtime while you wait for your plane to arrive lol. It’s like getting paid to do nothing , but don’t get me wrong it’s a hard job but it’s a lot of fun to me anyways 👍 Btw welcome to to ramp family ❤️
It is more about inspecting the doors and areas around same for any damages before opening. This is one of the main responsibilities of the lead person when doing his "walk around" after the arrival of the aircraft and before departure. Also. The lead is normally the person with the most experience and can better identify any form of inconsistencies/damages to the fuselage.
