I asked a 22 years pastor on the job "What must I do to be saved?" the pastor response " ask Jesus into your heart" I am NOT shock. The same day I asked a Catholic man the same question. He response "Trust in Christ finished work for your sin and rose again" You should see my face! My mouth wise open! PRAISE GOD I SHOUT FOR JOY!

I wish everyone was able to admit that sin is the problem. And that they themselves are sinners. People are willing to keep walking in deception out of sheer pride. I did. To show any "weakness" was not masculine. So I couldn't make those mistakes 🤣. Point being it took a while before I could point the truth at myself and accept it. Falling back into deception is easy these days. And admitting deception more than once? Stings twice as bad.

@@gracesaves949 I have not so learned Christ. John 15:1-6 says that a person can be in Christ ( but not have Christ in them) and sin and go to perdition. This is not something that happens to a born again believer.

Good message Justin. One thing though:Church of God(TN) Pentecostal does NOT believe you have to speak in tongues to be saved. Its the 2nd blessing/sanctification only. However they DO believe you can lose salvation, which is of course wrong.
There is a belief out here that we are ruling and reigning with Christ, that we are in the millenium ( which is a spiritual something or other ) and that satan is bound. What is this? I wouldn't care except that there are people close to me who believe this, and I don't even know how they came up with these beliefs. Is this what "amillenialism" is about?

The difference between saved and unsaved is faith. Why …so no man can boast. Only faith is righteousness. Only Christ his son his redemption justifies us before God. The law the written word cannot save us. Abraham the father of faith, his seed Jesus, the promise to come that would save mankind. Believe in his birth his life his death and his promises is faith. Adam is only a likeness of God, Jesus is the exact representation of gods glory. Adam seed all mankind is the natural seed sown weak cursed because of sin will die. Jesus the second Adam is our spiritual seed our resurrection life glorious victorious. The law only points to the evil in our hearts. Christians are as flawed in the natural as everyone. Faith is righteousness not our deeds not following the law.

I recently watched a blog between Glenn Beck and Max Locado. Max called Glenn a brother. One is a supposed Christian (Church of Christ) and one is a Mormon (opposed doctrins). But to top it off were the comments, one stating the Holy Spirit directed their conversation.
“Stop being a “Jesus follower” and start studying the Bible rightly divided and your spiritual life will start to move.” This is a quote from an article on the Grace Ambassadors website. HERESY that will lead to destruction.
Does other people’s salvation really rest on our shoulders?
No. We cannot save ourselves, how should we be responsible for the salvation of others? Ezekiel 18 is already OT doctrine about that. We are led by the Holy Spirit to point people to Christ and share the gospel with them but also not always. (Amos 5:13; Revelation 22:11) It is GOD who leads in this process. He does it all, and if WE failed He will use another person or incident to finish the job. He can use a talking donkey, remember Baalam.

This passage states, "Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures."
Believing in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ is the foundation of salvation. It is through faith in this gospel message that one is saved from the eternal consequences of sin, which is separation from God in hell. This salvation is a free gift from God, not earned through good works or personal merit.
However, it is important to note that while salvation is secure and eternal, the Bible also teaches that believers will face judgment for their actions. In 2 Corinthians 5:10, Paul writes, "For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad."
This judgment is not for determining salvation but rather for evaluating the works and actions of believers. In 1 Corinthians 3:13-15, Paul explains, "Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire."
This passage suggests that while believers are saved through faith in Christ, their works will be evaluated. Some works may withstand the judgment and result in rewards, while others may be burned up and result in loss. However, the individual himself will still be saved, though possibly with a diminished reward.
Regarding the idea of mocking God, Paul warns against such behavior in Galatians 6:7-8, stating, "Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting."
This passage emphasizes the principle of reaping what one sows. Mocking God and persisting in sinful behavior can lead to negative consequences in one's life, both in the present and potentially in the future judgment. It is a reminder that believers should strive to live according to the Spirit and not indulge in sinful desires.
In terms of being saved and sealed unto the day of redemption, Paul addresses this in Ephesians 1:13-14. He writes, "In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory."
This passage emphasizes that believers are sealed with the Holy Spirit, indicating the security of their salvation. The sealing of the Holy Spirit is a guarantee of the believer's inheritance and redemption. It is a mark of ownership by God and a promise of eternal life.
In terms of studying ourselves approved unto God, Paul encourages believers to do so in 2 Timothy 2:15. He writes, "Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." This verse emphasizes the importance of diligently studying and understanding the Word of God in order to live a life that is pleasing to Him.
Furthermore, Paul addresses the need for maturity in faith in 1 Corinthians 13:11. He writes, "When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things." This verse highlights the need for believers to grow and mature in their faith, leaving behind childish ways of thinking and behaving.
In Romans chapter 7, Paul describes his struggle with sin. He acknowledges that even as a believer, he still wrestles with sinful desires and actions. In Romans 7:15, he says, "For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I." Paul recognizes the internal conflict between his desire to do what is right and his tendency to sin.
However, Paul also emphasizes the power of God's grace in overcoming sin. In 2 Corinthians 12:7-9, he speaks of his thorn in the flesh, a messenger of Satan that buffets him. He pleads with God to remove it, but God responds, "My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness." This passage highlights the sufficiency of God's grace to sustain believers in their weaknesses and struggles.
In conclusion, the teachings of Paul emphasize the assurance of salvation through faith in Christ, the evaluation of believers' works at the judgment seat of Christ, the security of salvation through the sealing of the Holy Spirit, the importance of studying and understanding the Word of God, the call to maturity in faith, the recognition of the ongoing struggle with sin, and the sufficiency of God's grace in overcoming weaknesses. These teachings provide guidance for believers to live a life that honors God, grows in wisdom and understanding, and relies on His grace for strength and victory

Let's make sure right-division does not become a denomination
I would say it already is a denomination. The central tenant seems to be belief in the inspiration of the KJV translators. I have not yet run across a right divider who does not put that KJV infallibility doctrine above all others.
I think that those who want to believe that Jesus was not sinless are being taught by people who are diminishing Christ Jesus in order to make him more like the prophets of other religions. It is one of the methods being used to make Christianity simply one of many 'acceptable' religions rather than the only truth, the only way, and the only life. They want to strip away the exclusivity of the truth of Jesus Christ so that they can some day supplant him for another figure who they are right now grooming to play assume this role. These people do not realize that Jesus Christ is not religion - he is truth, and grace and life. He puts his spirit into those who call upon his name believing in him for the only salvation that has ever even been promised. No religion on this planet even offers salvation - they offer a plans for good behavior and are nothing more than weak self-help manuals.
What if I believe Jesus died on the cross for my sins ? Does that make me a Christian ? Or do I have to read & understand the Bible 100% in order to be a Christian ?
No one understands the Bible 100%. Paul says that if we consider what he says (his Gospel and his doctrine which was meant primarily for Gentiles because Israel fell in unbelief) we can have full understanding. 2 Timothy 2:7
The biggest problem in churches today, is they mix and combine Paul's message to Gentiles with the message meant for Israel only.
Anyone can know bible doctrine. But its only trusting in the finished work of Jesus Christ because you realized you're a hell deserving sinner, no matter how good of a person you look or think you are. Without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sin.

If you are truly saved by the death, burial and resurrection of Christ according to the scriptures, as Paul says (I Corinthians 15:1-4 KJV) and "in Christ," what's the problem? What church do you attend?? Would like to see your church's website and/or the complete statement of faith.

And Christ requires Me to honor truth and pretending race mixing ot practicing usury has brought all kinds of trouble to us

Most people that go to church just barely scratch the surface of Gods word. Most of what is being taught today is wrong and they go along with whatever the government says to keep their 401c status
