    Very nice. Finely explained. Very Beautiful phrase. I would like if you could please explain "na ka-dhi dhi mi- dhi dhi mi". Here mi after dhi is again middle finger I have seen umayalpuram sir plays this at high speed. How to strengthen the middle finger? Can you please give some practice steps? In fact, it's very common in Tabla fingering, to play middle finger. Ustad Zakir Hussain is master in this.

    Awesome.. Can the kha after dhim be played using ring finger alone?

    • @saishivmusic
      @saishivmusic  Год назад +1

      no it has to be played using middle finger. but if you're using middle finger as the supporting finger for num (like sri patri satish kumar) you have to play ka using ring finger

      Wonderful and important exposition! I have been playing the ka after dhin with my middle finger, but I play the ka after nam with my ring finger, which currently is quite a bit stronger than the middle finger. Thank you for sharing!
