- Which London area is best to explore? London is HUGE and so you can't see it all in a few days, not even a few weeks. So in this video I tell you which London area is (in my opinion) best for what, so you can decide which one to explore (but hopefully you make it to all of them).

About Love and London:
I'm Jess, I've lived in London for many years, and this channel is a London travel guide for anyone visiting the city that wants to experience it like you live here. Beyond talking about the usual London attractions, I show you some of the cooler things to do in London, that most travel guides don't mention. Watch my videos and you'll feel like you've got a Londoner friend telling you the best kept secrets in the city.
Top video as always Jess... Thank you... Stay safe Poppet...
this video is so random, but is also exactly what I was looking for haha. Awesome content and editing!
❤️
I traveled to London once and I really enjoyed your tips.
Makes me want to go and watch your videos again and again.
thanks. From Brazil
Glad to hear it!
Just returned from a week long visit in London. We found your videos extremely helpful. We stayed near Paddington Station and Hyde Park which proved to be a convenient and a safe area to stay. Breakfast at the Marcie Green was fabulous. I would encourage visitors to wear what they feel most comfortable in. We saw many wearing athletic wear and gym shoes wherever we went.
Glad you had a fun time Evan!
Coming at the end of July and staying in North London. Looking forward to seeing this great city again.
Awesome! Be sure to grab The Casual Tourist Guide to North London: shop.loveandlondon.com/products/the-casual-tourist-guide-to-north-london
I live in the UK and try to visit London a couple of times a year.
London is not the UK and these guides are brilliant even for Brits.
Informative, packed full of recommendations and tips to avoid getting ripped off.
Love the honesty of this lady.
Well done Jess.
More please.
Thanks for watching Rod. Be sure to watch some of our other 300+ videos ;)
I lived in East London while studying at uni at Queen Mary. After traveling all around London, I decided East London was my favorite! Maybe a little biased. East London felt the most underrated back then, but I agree that South London has taken that title now.
Love to hear it Corinne! Thanks for watching
Hey, I have office in Dartford. I want to stay closer to Dartford but in a modern city with residential buildings and shops, restaurants. Can you suggest?
iI made my first visit to London a few months back and stayed near BrickLane, was awesome, I think you can navigate easy in and around. Planning a second trip and was thinking of a different area but i enjoyed where i was based so much.
I prefer South London even though I'm a born and bred East Londoner.
Your videos were so helpful to me! ❤ I am currently writing a novel set in London but I’m from Philippines and I couldn’t go there 😢 Thanks for your videos that gives me a lot of info about London.
East London was the area for immigrants because the West End (nowadays central London) was for the wealthy and so industry had to be in the east, with the winds blowing the fumes and smells to the east, and therefore it was always a cheaper area in the past.
yup!
Well said fam
I thought south london was the "dangeorus "part
Thanks for this useful information about London💥😊🙄👋
Thanks for watching!
This is a brief but to the point video regarding each area of London. I have lived in all parts of London including Central London very briefly and agree with what you said. I did enjoy East London the most though
Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for watching :)
Good advice, and in a video under 5 minutes. I've got to take another trip, as it's been over a decade since I've been to London. I didn't even know whether I was in the South, West, or wherever. I just looked at a travel guide and subway map, and decided I needed to get to a particular station to see something. I just travel aimlessly. ;)
yeah london is absolutely massive so if you're going beyond the usual super touristy attractions (which I 100% recommend going beyond) it's much more spread out.
Loved that Jess. I am with you though I love east London and the city part. Cheers Rob
Thanks for watching Robert
This channel was a god send. My wife and I are trying to plan our honeymoon for April to London (coming from Canada!) I'm about 2 hours deep into your videos and a few pages of notes so far lol.

HAMPSTEAD !!! It was in our itineraries originally ,we were going to a Hungarian Cafe there ,then walk around the houses & pubs ,then King Cross for dinner ,then Camden ...,but mom got mobility issues now, so not sure !! We'll be in King Cross & Camden still ,though ! 💜🥁🐉🎤💞
Nice! You should grab The Casual Tourist Guide to North London for more options: shop.loveandlondon.com/products/the-casual-tourist-guide-to-north-london Enjoy!

Love this Jess!
I noticed Brixton and Pelham while searching for flats all around London.
Do you have any videos specifically about green areas around London? (, big enough to park trail run/park exercise/take long dog walks). I'm sure your other viewers who are not into eats and shopping would also appreciate it.
Thanks! Check my videos on Victoria Park and Hampstead Heath (mentioned that one in this video!)
find another website, please
Bruv dont live in Brixton or Peckham if you want to be safe at night south London way to dangerous
Jess é tão bom ouvir você!! You're stunning!!
North London muswell hill for me
Hi from Rhodes Greece. I just wanted to say that you are awesome ❣️
Thanks for watching Despina!
Thank you
I can't wait to visit @love and london ...central it is
Great!
Richmond upon Thames (+ Twickenham, kingston ) best borough in London by far
I recall when the London One Day Travel Card was about 3 pounds. Days out were affordably fun.
The late 1980's to early 1990's was a great time to live in the city. London was expensive, but affordable. It's still a great city, but no longer good value unless you live in affordable housing and income is above average.
I was wondering if you had any experience at Kew Garden Orchid show? Or the Fashion Show in Feb? Both looked like fun events.
Not sure which fashion show you mean but the Orchids are beautiful
I love London. I will be studying there next year. Looking forward to studying at this vibrant big city.
Nice!!
i love 💕 London
My problem was; the tube was easy for me, the bus freaked me out. I didn't go anywhere I could not go walking or tube. Next time I'll try busses...
Love your videos, I’m heading to London from Paris via Euro train for first time, there only for 3 days..where is the best place to stay to stay and experience London?

I live and grew up in south London but I've never truly explored the city which I need to do take advantage of the city I live in
It's common! but yes, go forth :)
How is the situation with Strikes ,viruses ??? Children’s virus ? We are going to London in the end of July . I am worried about it ! It my childhood’s dream . By the way , I watch all your videos. They are great!!!

You should review the Taylor Swift London Boy song and make a guide to the city with it!
hahah omg I def should have done that when it came out!!
@@loveandlondon if you can you should still do it! With the eras tour coming up all her fans who will be going into London for the concert would appreciate it 😊
You can beat New Battersea Power Station shopping Arcade, it's better than East London and West combined .
I don't think that's true ahha but thank you for watching!
About rooftop bars: is there any good places where a bunch of adults + one under 14 can have a drink? After concert it would be so nice but as I see in London under 18 or 21 its not possible. (Im from Budapest just to understand the question 🙃)
Under 14 can't go into bars I'm afraid!
@@loveandlondon Thanks a lot! Im afraid also. 🤷🏻♀️ But on the other hand its understandable.
Not a fan of highgate tube entrance steep
South West London is the best , covers Battersea, Putney, Richmond Upon Thames
Richmond is lovely but the rest of SW doesn't have much to do for tourists. I lived SW for many years and definitely prefer east as there's wayyyy more to do.
I'm gonna click SUBSCRIBE
can share more bloopers? so funny haha
haha yes a lot of our videos have them at the end so always make sure to watch till then! Thanks Pete
Wheres the suburbs???

❤❤❤❤❤
North.
North London easy
Southwest is the best place to live
West London is the best
I totally agree! Ealing Broadway is such a nice area!
East london
:)
Around the world its Expensive.
The city.
You mentioned Central London is particularly LGBT friendly. Can you tell me what places in London aren't?
I'm not personally LGBTQ+ so I can't say for sure but London is a very open and progressive city so you will generally not run into ANY problems :)
@@loveandlondon thanks a lot I just went to East London and got f@g bashed.
Nicee
North London Forever. 🟥
None of it since khan got his hands on it
Seeing the gentrification of south ldn is sad. Brixton and Peckham shouldn’t be like this 😭 middle class took over
Where did all the hoodlums go?
