He is the only member who has chorus credits on all of their discography. The members call him a chorus genius. Without his background vocals, harmonies and adlibs, BTS’ songs would sound so empty. He is the one who the producers set with to convey their vision about how they want the song to sound like, because Jungkook has the ability to express what they’re saying by his voice. Basically he shapes the songs with the producers, and then he sings the guides, then the other members listen to his guides to know how the song sounds like and then they divide the parts. That’s why you can hear a little bit of jungkook under other members’ voices most of the time. You just can’t deny how essential and important Jungkook is for BTS. A producer said this about him "JK really knew what I was going for & made it his own. He has great ears and the ability to express it in his own way. His vocal ability, ability to understand producers vision & expressing it. It really made an impression". His desire to always improve is what keeps him growing. He has that mindset of legends!. There's something about JK's covers that truly strikes a chord. Between his choice of songs and the way he captures their essence, it seems like they're telling his story somehow. I think his cover of Zion T - Working conveys a sort of melancholic wistfulness, a delicate obscure feeling I can't really peg, yet my heart hurts a little, the same way My Time makes me feel for the young boy trying to hold onto the time that zipped by..

I used to get hurt when so many armys or other fandoms would say negative about JK's singing or downplaying his versatility.But when I started to read/react to how producers,vocal coaches,singers,music critics or who has any kind of knowledge in music field view and analyze him then it bcame easier to ignore those cmmnts.Also other BTS members are the biggest fan of his voice.Even JK biased armys cant compete with them😊

Jungkook has been doing guide vocals, chorus and back vocal in the album.Solo Stan (akgae) complains that JK has many vocal parts, even calculating the chorus line, but I don't think it can be a perfect song without his chorus back vocals.Not only during his debut but also until now, Jungkook is the back vocalist of other vocal members.JK is putting more effort and time into the recording studio.So as time goes by, I can't help but be a better vocalist list.I hope other vocal lines can stand independently soon. Sofa.. The song that I didn't know exist until JK posted a cover of it. I got addicted to it and until now I still remember the whole lyrics by heart. This is the song that made me a Jeongguk biased forever. 😂💜 My friends teased me so much about being JK biased and not a Taehyung biased because I sang this song a lot back in college. Can't blame me though because JK's voice is heaven itself. Don't get me wrong guys, I love the 7 members so much, they are my babies for life. About autotune: even live, live performances -- the mic you are using changes the aural quality, doesn't it? Even mics can be programmed a certain way. If you look at singers of the really olden days -- the ability to _project_ was prized. A staple in opera, for sure, but even styles like qawwali have it in different ways. As a Muslim, I remember the stories we are told of Bilal (R) who had a beautiful voice and gave the first calls-to-prayer, the way we see in some cities and towns today. And he was especially well known for his voice being not only beautiful, but one that could be heard for _miles_ . Projection isn't as important today, hasn't been for years. Sure, that one lady Gaga concert where she lowers her mic all the way down and her voice still carries, a beautiful belt, all the pain of the song - that was impressive as heck. But we don't call singers untalented for needing amplification, do we - not even most snobs begrudge their singers a mic (unless they're opera fans, but I'm talking about the guys who look at today's pop music and say 'no one can sing anymore I miss the olden days') We've been experimenting with sound since day one. That's the point. Today, even the most conservative singers can choose between microphones that add more or less compression, that bring out the highs or lows of their voice more... Vocal coaches praise singers who "know how to trust the mic". How many times have I seen people say that about Jimin "see, he knows to trust the mic, trust the sound engineers--you may think that high note he's singing is very loud, but you can see that it's actually very quiet. He goes quieter, clearer, doesn't cup the mic, let's the mic pick up his sound and focuses on keeping his vocal mechanism clear and relaxed. That's how you do it" I think "autotune" will go the same way. Like how no one looks twice at 808s anymore. It's like they spoke in that On documentary... I'm excited by exploring it all. Music that revels in live drums and music that uses those compelling 808s. Music that combines the two. Music that uses the beauty of a classic gospel choir, their skill and talent and music that highlights texture, by cutting around it. Music that goes back to the elements of those skilled qawwali or opera singers and music that cutting edge, a bit unexpected maybe even a bit atonal. I'm a certified pop lover and I think this is a large part of what that entails. A mixture of familiar and fresh.

about autotune, there's a reactor and he's a black american who's local and quite famous in his circle. He reviewed BTS album before and one thing bothers me so much that the usage of autotune in BTS's album gave a bad vibe to him cz he said they dont need to use it, their voice was good enough. That indirectly saying the producers add autotune to mask or bts vocals. Personally I strongly disagree with him cz one autotune are wildly used in american music, what the hell is he talking abt???? I gave him the credit of doing research and so on, only that point made me really2 dislike him. In my opinion, Jin's solos are the hardest to cover by the other singers.. and I think Jin will have the hardest time covering the songs by the others as well because at its basis, his voice is so different compared to the other 3. I don't mean that the other 3 have the same voice. But that you can always pick out Jin in a harmony because his voice is so thick, chesty and has a more denasal quality. The other 3 have unique voices and are identifiable as well but their unison usually melds well. That's probably why Jin gets less adlibs than others. Take that adlib in Jamais Vu for example [when he goes for a high "Remedy"]. Even with the volume turned down, I could hear him clearly. Because his voice shows too much. Just like Yoongi's. It cuts through the track to be like "here I am!" Even in a Jin/Jimin high harmony (which technically should work), Jin's voice will sort of push everything aside to show up clearly. So I didn't enjoy hearing the cover of Epiphany and Moon just like I didn't enjoy Jin covering Euphoria or KookMin trying Winter Bear, but I thought JK took a pretty decent shot notes wise at Awake. I'm so glad none of them tried Lie. Only Jimin can sing Lie. [TLDR: I think BTS voices are so unique that when they try to cover each other.. it doesn't work for me]

Jungkook has been doing guide vocals, chorus and back vocal in the album.Solo Stan (akgae) complains that JK has many vocal parts, even calculating the chorus line, but I don't think it can be a perfect song without his chorus back vocals.Not only during his debut but also until now, Jungkook is the back vocalist of other vocal members.JK is putting more effort and time into the recording studio.So as time goes by, I can't help but be a better vocalist list.I hope other vocal lines can stand independently soon. It is unfair to target JK without knowing his gratitude.

Sofa.. The song that I didn't know exist until JK posted a cover of it. I got addicted to it and until now I still remember the whole lyrics by heart. This is the song that made me a Jeongguk biased forever. 😂💜 My friends teased me so much about being JK biased and not a Taehyung biased because I sang this song a lot back in college. Can't blame me though because JK's voice is heaven itself. Don't get me wrong guys, I love the 7 members so much, they are my babies for life. When I learned about them back in 2013, I already knew that I'll support them whatever it takes/happens. I'm whipped for every single one of them. 💜🤣

About autotune: even live, live performances -- the mic you are using changes the aural quality, doesn't it? Even mics can be programmed a certain way.
If you look at singers of the really olden days -- the ability to _project_ was prized. A staple in opera, for sure, but even styles like qawwali have it in different ways. As a Muslim, I remember the stories we are told of Bilal (R) who had a beautiful voice and gave the first calls-to-prayer, the way we see in some cities and towns today. And he was especially well known for his voice being not only beautiful, but one that could be heard for _miles_ .
Projection isn't as important today, hasn't been for years. Sure, that one lady Gaga concert where she lowers her mic all the way down and her voice still carries, a beautiful belt, all the pain of the song - that was impressive as heck.
But we don't call singers untalented for needing amplification, do we - not even most snobs begrudge their singers a mic (unless they're opera fans, but I'm talking about the guys who look at today's pop music and say 'no one can sing anymore I miss the olden days')
We've been experimenting with sound since day one. That's the point.
Today, even the most conservative singers can choose between microphones that add more or less compression, that bring out the highs or lows of their voice more... Vocal coaches praise singers who "know how to trust the mic". How many times have I seen people say that about Jimin "see, he knows to trust the mic, trust the sound engineers--you may think that high note he's singing is very loud, but you can see that it's actually very quiet. He goes quieter, clearer, doesn't cup the mic, let's the mic pick up his sound and focuses on keeping his vocal mechanism clear and relaxed. That's how you do it"
I think "autotune" will go the same way. Like how no one looks twice at 808s anymore. It's like they spoke in that On documentary... I'm excited by exploring it all. Music that revels in live drums and music that uses those compelling 808s. Music that combines the two. Music that uses the beauty of a classic gospel choir, their skill and talent and music that highlights texture, by cutting around it. Music that goes back to the elements of those skilled qawwali or opera singers and music that cutting edge, a bit unexpected maybe even a bit atonal.
I'm a certified pop lover and I think this is a large part of what that entails. A mixture of familiar and fresh.

about autotune, there's a reactor and he's a black american who's local and quite famous in his circle. He reviewed BTS album before and one thing bothers me so much that the usage of autotune in BTS's album gave a bad vibe to him cz he said they dont need to use it, their voice was good enough. That indirectly saying the producers add autotune to mask or bts vocals. Personally I strongly disagree with him cz one autotune are wildly used in american music, what the hell is he talking abt???? I gave him the credit of doing research and so on, only that point made me really2 dislike him. He's being quite bias cz he's shitting on the autotune so much that I wish I could say to his face that "the famous rapper in america Post Malone and even Drake also use autotune"🙄

In my opinion, Jin's solos are the hardest to cover by the other singers.. and I think Jin will have the hardest time covering the songs by the others as well because at its basis, his voice is so different compared to the other 3. I don't mean that the other 3 have the same voice. But that you can always pick out Jin in a harmony because his voice is so thick, chesty and has a more denasal quality. The other 3 have unique voices and are identifiable as well but their unison usually melds well. That's probably why Jin gets less adlibs than others. Take that adlib in Jamais Vu for example [when he goes for a high "Remedy"]. Even with the volume turned down, I could hear him clearly. Because his voice shows too much. Just like Yoongi's. It cuts through the track to be like "here I am!" Even in a Jin/Jimin high harmony (which technically should work), Jin's voice will sort of push everything aside to show up clearly. So I didn't enjoy hearing the cover of Epiphany and Moon just like I didn't enjoy Jin covering Euphoria or KookMin trying Winter Bear, but I thought JK took a pretty decent shot notes wise at Awake. I'm so glad none of them tried Lie. Only Jimin can sing Lie.
