Yes madam its known. We even make this by drying in the sun for two days.first we add salt and tumeric to tomato pieces and keep them aside fro 3 days.then separate the water and pieces dry them separately. Add tamarind to water while drying.after 2 days grind them to a smooth paste,and remaining process is same as you did.but oil should be of room temperature .this will last for a year as it is dried in sun.
