When I try to apply on line I reach on the section I have to download my birth certificate which I don't have. If I don't download that the system didn't allow me to go the second step. What can I do please help .
I think your kids also born in Ethiopia, right? Then, you have to apply this yellow card individually, the payment also made per each application separately.
No they are not born 8n Ethiopia, because of their mother born in Ethiopia. Here in Developed country you pay for children low price adult normal price.

You can get your finger print from a local police station or other forensic finger print analysis service providers even from Denmark , you don't have to come to Ethiopia for this purpose. even if they gave you digitally you can get it printed so that you scan an upload it during your application. you better renew your origin id first if you need to get a lost passport or new passport , but for passport renewal , they don't need ID to apply online , in all cases I advise if first renew it unless you have other ID card.

The application is now online for both, through Digital Invea app (if you are applying from abroad) or if you are in Ethiopia through their website www.ethiopianpassportservices.gov.et the minimum processing time is from two weeks to one month (theoretically) , nowadays there is too much need for passport , so if you need for passport renewal , it may take more than this.If every thing is as per their requirement , you may get the origin ID with in a month. If you still need it urgently , you may apply for an urgent service provided you have an appropriate justification and supporting evidence. Thank you!

Go to the beginning of the application and choose Ethiopian passport if you have one.
