The truss example which you have consider in the video is unstable as the truss is supported with one end hinged and other end roller.. when the load is applied at the joint the truss will move towards right as the roller support does not restrict the horizontal movement and also there is no bottom chord member that connects the pin to the roller. You have wrote below the truss it is in equilibrium. Why do you applied the load in the member?? Truss are subjected to the loads at the joints only. When the truss is subjected to the loading in the member other than the joint then the trusses would have subjected to the shearforce and bending moment also na.
In cases like this I generally pause the video, think about what was said, and if I don't get it then rewind a bit to see and hear it again. Although if you want the video to play slower, you can always slow it down with the RUclips video playback speed controls.
