Grammatically I'd say it means bound by rails. Adventure Bound is two words, so the word Bound isn't tied onto the word, with bound being attached to a word I believe it typically means bound by [blank].
I'm the case of the term "rail bound" in real life, it means "within the boundaries of rails", which also fits the theme of the game. But unless the developer says otherwise, it's possible it's intended as a play on words, using the secondary meaning of "Leaping into the world of rails".
@@takumi2023 i returned to work since my comment. But essentially, 2 goes into lower tunnel, arriving above the exit 3 takes. Connect that to the 2 start. One connects to the lower right tunnel directly, 2 gets delayed by looping round the opposite side to 1's tunnel entrance. I will put time stamp when i get home after my work day. The solution was on screen though for sure.
@@chiefkieran3446 I cant understand your explanation. which lower tunnel? there are 2 lower tunnels. what's 1's tunnel entrance? Just so you know, if 2 takes the lower gray tunnel, it will collide with 1.
here's a solution: copy pasted from my post: for the last level, 1 should go to either closest tunnel first. -Let's pick closer orange tunnel (top left). 1 goes into that. -then 2 will go downwards, merge into 1's track. -then 3 will enter the top right gray tunnel, and will follow the same track 1 and 2 used.
For the last puzzle, make 1 go around 2 and 3 to the right connecting back to the train at the end. For 2 and 3, make them go to the left in the the tunnels right next to them and then connect the exits of the tunnels back to the mainline you used for 1. If they hit, make 2 and 3 go forward one spot and then go to the left to the closest tunnel that each one started at.
Wow. This really reminds me of a super weird game I had on the SNES. It was a Thomas the Tank Engine game for young kids, where it had several different modes which involved like, slide puzzles, races, and a Track-building game! The track building game, (The one that prompted this odd memory) was always my favorite. You'd have to connect Thomas's tracks to like, a farm and a windmill, and then back to town. Then you'd press play, and watch the tiny blue pixels chug along the tracks you built. I'd always make the tracks as obnoxiously long as possible, winding around itself with wide switchback turns, just to make 'beating' the game take longer. Obviously this game is higher quality than that SNES one, but it brought up a lot of memories from year's ago.
If you haven't solved that last one. Take 1 to the grey. Take 2 circle up and around and follow 1 into gray. Have three go into green bottom. Grey top goes to train. Green top follows the path 1 & 2 into grey. You can also do the reverse.
I think I understand that last one. 1 has to go through the top brown tunnel and connect. 2 has to loop past the bottom grey tunnel without going through it and then connect to line 1. 3 has to go through the top grey tunnel, which will connect it to line 2
SPOILER: My solution for the puzzle RCE got stuck on: . . . . . . . 2-7A 1 goes left into the brown tunnel, then turns right and connects to the engine 2 turns right, looping around its start point and connecting to 1's path 3 goes left into the grey tunnel, which joins onto 2's loop
you can't connect 2 to the 1's path. the connection between wagons 1 and 2 track is set, so the connection automatically makes it a 3 way junction you can't make a 4 way junctions it seems. (if it didn't it'd work).
@@takumi2023 I just downloaded the demo to check. My solution works, but connecting the four-way intersection correctly is a bit finicky. You have to draw a horizontal line across before connecting 1's starting point to it. Having the lateral track first causes 1's path to create a three-way junction instead of continuing forward into 2's spot. Here's a more exact walkthrough: *Draw a line from the bottom grey tunnel to the top brown tunnel, going between the starting points for 1 and 2* 1 connects to this initial line and turns left, going into the top brown tunnel 2 turns 180° to the right and connects to the initial line directly in front of the bottom grey tunnel 3 goes left into the top grey tunnel Finally, connect the bottom brown tunnel to the finish
potential solution for 2-7A place rail direct from 1 to the caboose, carriage 2 divert to lower grey tunnel, carriage 3 divert to lower brown tunnel they should then be aligned properly and have correct timing as the tunnels invert, hopefully this helps
Without being able to test it, For the last one. Path for 1 bypasses along one side. Paths for 2 and 3 join the track for 1 via the tunnels. I believe it works for either side, but would need to test it to make sure. The tunnels allow for switching position of 2 and 3.
Last puzzle: starting from the 1: Left - right - left into the left yellow tunnel. From the 2: right - right - straight - right into the line of wagon 1 From the 3: left - left - right into the right blue tunnel From the left blue tunnel merge left From the right yellow tunnel just connect to the end
I finally figured out 2-7A. It all has to do with the placement of what I'm calling 2,3.. and that's all I'm saying on it. I also solved one of the EX ones in an unusual manner with a piece left over, and I'm very interested in seeing if RCE gets the same solution.
There's a wonderful game like this called trainyard. I don't know if it's ever been ported to PC, but it's on android which means you should be able to emulate it
RCE actually beat me in other levels I couldn't seem to get them but the last one was fairly easy to me, just because he almost built it correct only rotate 2 pieces
you need to make a straight line on the left (or top) side from the 1 to the finish, both tunnels have to be connected to the side where the locomotive is the 2 have to go to the gray tunnel on his right, and the 3 have to go to the green (?) tunnel on his right
As soon as 2 exits from the tunnel, it will collide with 1. Also, it's red clay color. Not that I can explain it to you. I never know how to explain colors to color blinds.
This game looks fun. I downloaded the game. it appears you can go into the tunnel at the same time. (bug or feature?) this might help solve the puzzle. can't figure it out yet

Does railbound mean travelling to the rail like adventure bound, or, bound by the rails? Or perhaps both.
I believe its both.

Adventure Bound is two words, so the word Bound isn't tied onto the word, with bound being attached to a word I believe it typically means bound by [blank].
