If someone had told me I would be interested in watching a guy and his dog roam around in England, then renovate his van, I would have said "no way." But I would have been soooooo wrong! I'm hooked. I can't believe how much I enjoyed this video; watching you do all the van stuff (hard work -- great job -- love the bead board ceiling), and looking forward to experiencing the amazing beauty of England with you and Sherpa, and visits with family (Sarah is a lovely young woman, so cute with Sherp). Sherpa has many responsibilities that's why he's so tired! He has to be the shop supervisor, the Quality Inspector, yard security making sure Jamie doesn't make any mistakes! That's exhausting! He need some more chicken balls!

I had to Google the word "chuffed" when you said: "I'm so chuffed, I can't stop looking at it!" as you took a shot of the van.😁 And *very pleased* (chuffed) I am to see you so happy after the hardships and disappointments you've had to endure. You've remained so positive throughout, Jamie, and have been a true inspiration to me, thank you.
Sherpa has been such a good boi and so patient. Loved his nose wiggle at 5:35 when you asked him 'happy?' as he was looking out of the van at you. The nose wiggle and beautiful face said it all: "I love you, Dad!" 😘
I really enjoyed this long video showing all the details of putting the van together. Thank you for the many hours you devote to the videos and answering the comments.
All of this is just lovely just 13 days until Sherpa's 10th birthday. (My grand nephew Ben will be 19 on the 3rd. He was born 3 weeks and 1 day after 9/11 in 2001.)

Jamie, I shared this video with my son, Todd! He said he wants to do the same thing and wants a van like your new red van!! He lives in Santa Cruz, California about 2 to 3 hours drive from where I live in Sonoma, California. He surfs and/or wing foils (a new sport getting popular) just about every day. You’d love it here in Northern California. Loads of expat Brits here too! Wish you could visit with Sherp so we could show you some good rambles!! Amazing what you’ve done already with the van! I am sure glad to see it all come together. I remember when things weren’t so good. You shall see many things now. Sherpa was tired at first, but he cheered up. Van looks real good. You might try lazy h brackets on that solar panel. There should be some extrusions of aluminum that would work. Might even have matching surface finishes. Just a thought! Jaime, the van is really coming together. You are brilliantly talented. Thank you for sharing. All of the nooks and crannies would be an excellent place for storage. Such as under the double bed; there was a lot of empty place. You could add dividers for your tools, cleaning supplies, Sherpa' s toy box and extra gear. Take care and all of the best.
