That was so compassionate. I never understood how a human being can deny another human being food. It’s a basic necessity, and we need it to live. It would’ve been nothing for that restaurant to give him even just some french fries And a soda. They usually throw half of the food they prep anyway. Why not give it to somebody who genuinely needs it. We are all in this world together and we need to help each other.❤

95% of people probably won't help you tbh, just focus on yourself and take care of yourself first
I know. People will ignore cries for help because it's "none of their business." But when you're minding your own business, they wanna be in it. These are the SAME people who will be nice to you when you don't need them, and "take offense" when you don't show gratitude or return the favor. Their kindness is self-serving. And if they do help it's either grudgingly or willingly with ulterior motive.
Sadly, many waiters are also struggling on minimum wage jobs and may not have the capacity to pay for someone else even if they wanted to

This video makes me feel like its worth it being kind. I love taking care of the sick in the hospital. Making them smile in their last moments and making them happy. Even if my life is a wreck at the moment. Ide rather suffer and be kind instead of being s horrible person. I give them their meals and clean my whole hospital floor that im in charge of, we order the stuff we need in the kitchen everything. Its like being a housewife of the floor and i wouldnt have it any other way even if the patient is terminal. I just shower them with love.
You know what's really cool about Steven and these videos... he's not just giving someone money because it's a "prank" video or something... he's words are so kind and meaningful... and that means so much. The money is just icing on the cake.
1:09 I know she's just following orders but I find it very hilarious that at the end of the day, a bunch of leftovers get thrown away. Would make more sense to help right? Food is going to be thrown away anyways. I don't get the logic of wasting leftovers. I really don't. But whatever. I usually applaud food restaurants that have a heart and give them business and try to avoid the ones that don't. Fyi, I'm poor as f.. with a very weak paying job. Rarely afford to dine in. It’s lovely that people help and get rewarded - I always do, but what’s funny is I had nothing until I was in my late 20’s and I’d never be rude enough to go into a restaurant without money. I was brought up to do without if I had nothing. The world actually rewards cocky, rude people.

When I was in the army they sent me and a few soldiers off for a school. They gave us a massive stipend (massive to us) and each of us tipped 100 bucks to a waitress. There was 8 of us. She cried and said her child’s birthday was coming up and she was a single mom and it helped her out! I love this! We would have spent that money blindly but instead she used it to better her child’s experience!

I once stopped at a KFC. An African American man in his 30s or 40s came in to apply for a job. He asked the white female manager to help him with the application since he said he didn't read well. He meantioned he had walked quite a distance to get the store. When they were done with the application he asked the manager for a favor. He was hungry and he didn't have any money. She got him a 2 or 3 piece meal and a drink. I was on my lunch break. I had a job and my parents put me through college and this made me humble.
