Omg me to :D it's concerning as to how many dragon things I own I'm also actively working on making realistic dragon wings that will move with me when I wear em!:D
Oh this is a really good one! I love the clean line art and the fact that the whole story is here/explained in the description. My friend and I were just talking about our characters similar to this the other day!
Wow. This was freaking AMAZING I have seen so many animatics with this song and this is one of the best! You did a great job with choreography, scenery, character design, and syncing the animation to the music! Keep up the good work!
“Run you cur! RUN! Tell all the other curs the LAW is comin’! YOU TELL ‘EM *I’M* COMIN’! AND HELL’S COMIN’ WITH ME, YOU HEAR!? *HELL’S COMIN’ WITH ME!!!* “
Freya was nine years old when two strangers came to her secluded mountain village. They claimed to be lost, so her people welcomed them with open arms. The two seemed particularly interested in Freya, calling her a "monster", though it wasn't a word the villagers recognized. The strangers spoke such a strange language. A week into their stay, tragedy struck. A fire broke out in the village, burning one of the Snowberry orchards, the brewery, and many of the nearby houses, including Freya's. Her parents didn't make it out of the fire. Before Freya could grieve, fingers were being pointed at her, the strangers had managed to convince everyone that Freya was responsible. Suddenly she wasn't the golden child Blessed with the form of a dragon. She was a "monster". The strangers took her away, from her home, her friends, the only family she had left. She found out soon after that this was their plan all along, these strangers were magic traffickers, making profit from selling magical items and creatures. The fire was just an excuse to take her without a fight. After a year she was able to escape captivity, but it didn't matter. Where could she go? Home? She didn't know where that was, not that she would go back if she could. She was alone, ten years old, no money, no plan, she couldn't even speak the country's language. On top of all that, these people would only ever see her as a "monster". So she ran. And she kept running for seven years, going in and out of groups that hurt her, helped her, betrayed her, and everything in between. Until she had finally had enough, and wanted revenge for the life that was stolen from her. (the desc)
I find the backstory unbelievable. Why would a secluded village ever take the word of strangers over one of their own? Especially since the incidents and accidents only started to happen after the strangers showed up? It just doesnt make any sense to me. That aside though, the animation looked great and I liked the revenge part quite a bit.
So I didn’t include every detail about the backstory because I didn’t want to ramble, but essentially this village is known for “snowberries”, a rare fruit that can be used to make the sweetest wine known to man. Because of this, the village was used to traders and other interested parties coming to their home for business. These people have never once wished ill-will upon the village, and a mutual trust was forged. No one really moves out of the village, so anything they know about the outside world, they learn from traders and trust them in good faith. I guess you could think about their mentalities being akin to sheltered kids, they have no reason not to trust every word of these travelers “they’re so knowledgeable”. So when two seemingly wise wanderers took refuge in their village, it was hard for a lot of the villagers to not hang on their stories (the ones that could speak the language, anyway). When the strangers described little Freya as a beast/monster/creature, doubts started to creep in. After all, Freya’s parents were the ones that claimed she was a Blessing, that’s exactly what any parent would say. These strangers knew exactly how to manipulate these people to their advantage because they had done it so many times before. For them it was almost too easy. Of course the villagers eventually realized the truth once the chaos had quieted down, but by then it was too late. She was gone. Does that make sense? I’m still tweaking a few behind the scenes bits when I’m not working on the main story because two of these villagers will be important later
Heh I know those two bastards set the fire in her village. A little coincidental that a week into their stay after failing to convince the village that she was a monster a fire broke out when there wasn't a history of it before. Hope that girl that tried to chase her down is enough for the dragon girl to come back from being the monster they made but probably not.
Mob mentality sucks, all it takes is for a few people to point fingers at the child and an entire village turns against her, and yeah, maybe the little girl (her name is Hazel ☺️) can’t be there to help stop Freya’s murderous rampages, but someone else down the road might. One can only hope
This video is great. It really bring in the whole revenge dama story with the song. The story with it is very interesting too. I really want to see and know more of this story. Like what dose happen to Freya after this. Was the arrow poisoned (purple arrow), is it a start of a revolution, and/or the start of a warrior's jounry against slavery.
Now most of these questions will be answered as the webcomic goes on and I make more animatics, but I will say that the arrow was cursed, but not corrosive or damaging. Cursed weapons are just the only things that can pierce her scales
Nope, I just do this for fun. Most of the songs I use get copyright claimed, but the owners allow the content to be on RUclips and it hasn’t been an issue so far
Nope, she spends most of her life drifting from one town to the next. After her revenge she’s basically numb, wandering with no direction and no hope until the next thing comes along to distract her
This takes place about six months before she meets the other three main characters in my webcomic “Fodder”. I’ll start posting chapters on RUclips next month!
She’s the main character of her own life’s story. The main point of all four of the main characters in Fodder is that in any other story, they are the perfect side characters/love interests/plot devices/etc. But don’t worry, since Freya won’t be introduced until season 2, I have a whole string of animatics exclusively for RUclips planned for one of her main arcs that I couldn’t fit in the main story without an exposition dump. There is plenty more Freya content to come
"the child who is not embraced by the village will burn it down to feel its warmth"
one of the quotes that could describe Hell's Comin With me
Never give a Draconic Entity a reason to hunt you down, it only leads to a painful death.
That’s why my dragonborn is on his way to slay a false god he once served as a paladin
As a Dragon, I can confirm this.

So true
This song reminds me of an old saying "Karma always collects her debt". Its only just a matter of time.
First heard this quote in a song called wolf in sheeps clothes
Nothing feels as sweet as righteous revenge.
Fire and wings make it all the better.
This was unnecessarily badass. I was smiling so wide when she got revenge
Wow, I love how her wings are animated in those scenes, they look amazing 🤩
finally a animation that actually synced with the song and a good animation
The story, the depictions, and the passion of this animation legit brought tears to my eyes. I loved this soo much ❤❤.
I would love to see more of this character. I have a huge addiction to dragons and this just made me so happy. Keep up the amazing work.❤❤

There is nothing like the rage of a dragon or someone who has been wronged. The combination of both is a disastrous result.

Awesome! I've been watching a lot of animations for this song tonight, it's cool to see a new one!!
“How many times have you watched this?”
Yes…
Just like always, great artwork and storyline. Impressed by everything I see. Good job
this song slaps so hard, I'm definitely using this in my D&D campaign
Freya you are my hero.
A beautiful song told through animation using this song
this works for a few of my ocs, this is amazing
So...who was the person that tried to chase after the wagon? The fact that they alone seemed to not want Freya to be taken away seems rather important
Her bestie, Hazel. Not that it matters since she’ll probably never see her again
@CelvyCington ...that wording is certainly raising suspicions
Whatever do you mean? That’s preposterous
