Hi Nafisa, I just wanted to let you know that I understand where you’re coming from an Islamic point of view but because number one God created pumpkins they’re not just they’re not just random man-made things you can’t put the pumpkins into one category saying that yes they’re associated with Halloween. I understand that for the most part but also they’re associated with fall in general as long as you don’t carve them or paint faces on them or paint them in general they’re OK to decorate with especially the fake ones. The Quran does not forbid us from decorating with pumpkins as long as it doesn’t have anything to do with the dark side and carving jack-o’-lanterns.
