Oh My General (Chinese: 將軍在上) is a 2017 Chinese streaming television series starring Ma Sichun and Sheng Yilun. It is adapted from the novel General Above I Am Below (Chinese: 將軍在上我下) by Ju Hua San Li. Though not technically a GL by western standards, by Chinese standards it is. It is actually a very good story overall. Personally, I think they could have pushed the boundaries a bit more, but it's still very good. I would love to rewrite it with corrections, but I am quite certain it is copyright protected. Fan Fiction would be great, though.

I'm sorry for saying this but most Chinese series or movies with two female stars, so close to each other are GL bait. Some are unrequited because one is straight and the other one has a crush on her but sadly it wasn't reciprocated and they stayed only as best friends.
@@thenandnowstudioChinese are so careful making GL and BL live series because it's still a taboo in their country, the only one I've seen successful is Couple Of Mirrors based on the novel and manhwa adaption unfortunately no kissing scene between the two FL.
What is the name of the female lead? Is she a Taiwanese actress? Her looks is very different from Mainland China actresses so she standout because her beauty is unique. A lot of China actresses have the similar look.

That's right. However, the two are together in the sequel. However, this is set in modern times and Zhao lives as a man.
