Nice plugin but how much impact does it have on render time ?

Greetings! thanks for the comment, it all depends on the power of your video card, since processing is done through the GPU

@@retouch4me ok, Thanks for the reply . Do you recommend any specific configuration ? As someone commented that 7 minutes clip with no other edits and effects was rendered for 5 hours , can you please clarify on that ? (He also mentioned about configuration )

We are working to improve the performance of the plugins, but at the moment processing one frame on a GeForce video card can take the following time:
      - RTX 40 Series = 6-11 seconds
      - RTX 30 Series = 12-20 seconds
      - RTX 20 Series = 15-20 seconds
      - GTX Series = More than 20 seconds

$240 for this 🤣😂🤣 Resolve already provide the tools to do it on the studio version which is the price of this “plug in”

Hi! Indeed, Resolve Studio do have an option to blur the skin. Like any other blur filter. CapCut have it too. Do you use it? Looks not really natural, right?
Retouch4me plugins manipulate images in completely different way. Like editors do it manually, but with AI. There is no free, or even less expensive competitors on the market for this moment. Just take a look at retouch4.me/videoretouching

@@retouch4meThe studio version of Resolve has a face refinement which tracks the face and allows you to make custom adjustments. It's not just blur.

I watched a few of these video including another review - what they fail to tell you is the horrendous render times - I put 4 short 4k clips together of a model and applied the dodge and burn - Let me also say I have a brand new Mac Studio 2 with extra memory and doubled the GPU's - no reason why this should render for 5 hours. Play back during editing - you have to do the trick I used to do when playing back on my gamer PC - optimize all your media and set the background enable caching to 1 sec from 5 . So if you want to speed up your work flow - I feel I was deceived by this false reviews and claims. I purchased both the dodge and burn and heal - I only applied D and B - I don't know the render time if I did both. The entire clip was 6 min and 54 second - Redner with no other edits and effects was 5 hours 9 minutes and 31 second. Truth

I have to post an update after opening support ticket - first off - support is very good - amazing response so 5 stars on retouch support - There are several setting you must do to make this work - however - after making these adjustments to even get it to play back for editing, you must wait until the blue bar for all of the cache setting to get updated in the GPU's , this again takes a long time - same video - same 1 effect added and to complete the blue bar is about 35 minutes. Then you can play it back normal mode. Then the render for this exact video with "heal" added at 66.1 "sensitivity setting" - took 1 hour and 41 minutes - remember the dodge and burn run time was 5 hours, 9 minutes and 31 second - but before I made all the suggested support setting changes. Each project you will have to do these changes. Also - "heal at above 66.1% will fill in a persons belly button (really??? you can't recognize a belly button?) - Yep - it will fill in her belly button just past 66.1% on the over sensitivity. To add more heal - you will haver to edit these sections to exclude the belly button. If you want to discuss - see me at @Picturesque_imagery77 - I guess you need to weigh the pros and cons before purchasing.
