i remember the first time i saw an ls swapped miata i didnt know wtf was goin on like " why does a miata sound like that?" i was like 8 years old outside of a pep boys in florida and my dad told me any car can sound like that if you change the muffler ........ i was like nahhhhhh somethings fishy here lol

Don't forget to order your Thermostat gasket, and thermostat. The black valve covers looks far better then the dirty red which was still better looking then the stock dull aluminum.

Hey Taylor you should look into adding some bracing and support to the wheel wells. I have heard there kinda weak and tend to flex. My friend did it in his Miata and said it made a big difference. And on hoonigan the recent episode with the green Evo they mention that’s it’s a good thing to do. Anyway just a thought but keep up the good stuff

Gorilla makes a clear tape that is really thick. Way easier to put on than vinyl and has worked well for me

I built an LS based Miata and it is very similar to the blue swapped Miata. Loads of fun to drive.
37 subs away from 300K and by the time I wake up tomorrow it’s going to be 300K, been watching since 5K since I was late to watch the video where Adam pointed out you had a channel. Thank you for providing the many hours of entertainment and more of the grass routes typical guy than Adam’s professional side of things. Now to the road of 400k, we’ll get there soon enough!

Use gas to get the residue off i use to work at an auto glass place and when ppl came in with the window taped up we wpuld use gas and it worked great

Hey man, if you changed that front t fitting on the front of the engine to be horizontal instead of vertical it might make the hoses run a little better. I could be wrong.

Before Taylor had a channel, him and aLZ used to kick it quite often. I’ve noticed this with a few other YTers. Friends in one video, quit chilling when they both get a channel.
Wire brushing and wire wheels smooth a surface rather than scuffing it like sandpaper. That's why the paint was easy to damage. Good prep is key to good paint finish..
Use a ka24 upper rad hose it is a cross bay hose so it would work well.

I do love those wrinkle black valve covers. Now I wanna see the red fuel rails in the copper color :P. Excellent vids as always, cant wait to see this get done.
I suggest for you to buy vinyl tape for the top part of the cage, so it wont get scratched as easy and, it still exposes the color of the cage
So clean engine bay iam gonna take my time once I get a ws6 roller 5.3 or 6.0 build
Need to use glass cleaner when applying vinyl wrap, like window tint.
Next time you wrap something. Sometimes it's easier if you spray a little bit of soapy water (it will let you rectify if it doesn't align properly, and it will be easier to remove the wrap in the future). Also heat helps a lot.

but imo having a suspension set up already in my possession that would fit if all I had to do was notch the subframe, and having most of the material to do the work, i'd go with notching it.
but like I said, its your choice.
i wanted to do this swap in my 91 NA 1.6 miata you seen me drifting in 2017 in Texas. but ended up getting a S-Chassis when i really wanted a #r32. at least i get another reference video if i build a LS miata. keep it up. I want to drive it. lol

Hey man, I love this series! Only one thing that I'd suggest is that when I watch your videos I find the music can be jarring as it's louder than the volume of your voice. Just something to hate in mind.

Why you reinstall the long tube for the engine oil. the Cap can screw into the cover without the long tube.
