Thank you! This is a deep dark & a very difficult song to sing. It was supposed to be given to ZS for his first album in 2015 but was too difficult and ZS couldn't handle it. Later, 2 Divas tried but they failed. Zhou Shen finally did it & did it just right & perfect, did not over do it. . This is a real story about a man who left his will to his children. A conversation between himself & the children. The complicated internal emotions, regrets, lonely, hatred, contradict, longing, sorrowful, anger, screaming from within, ZS was able to draw them out and delivered through his voice. You obviously can hear him singing in a very different way this time, it's not about techniques, it's about fusing himself into the song and I'm sure you could tell from his facial expressions. Hua Hua take music and turns it into art. One never knows what one will get with a Hua Chenyu song since he mixes genres and composes many of his own songs. He is an epic stage performer spilling his emotions into the audience so they can share in those emotions. He is also a master are redeveloping cover songs into his unique perspective. One of my favourite songs from Zhou Shen. The song was composed 10 years ago by Mr Gao Xiao Song but ZS's performance is the first time this song is published. He is the original singer 😀. Mr Gao has waited for a long time to find a suitable singer for the song. He decided to give ZS this chance back to 2015 but ZS's vocal technique has not meet the requirement yet. Five years later, ZS recorded a demo again and sent it to Mr Gao in order to get his approval to perform it in Singer show. The lyrics is quite strange and causes people feeling of scared. It showed a very different side of ZS also.
Slight correction though...it's not ZS vocal technique didn't meet the requirement when he attempted this song for his debut album, but more like he didn't know how to handle this song, technique wise and emotion wise. However, a few years later, ZS decided to attempt this song again at Singer 2020, so he recorded his rehearsal during Singer and sent to Mr Gao to see if he's satisfied with his performance, and Mr Gao was absolutely stunned and felt that ZS had improved tremendously. This is definitely one of my fav songs from him too!
The song is talking about an unwilling writer, no one can understand his works and no one visit him so he rings the doorbell and listen alone. Just like no one understand Vincent Van Gogh and no one listen to him.

我觉得是他写的歌不好听，不是因为难度大，幸好是周深唱，他居然说周深驾驭不了。就像他说周深没有唱出降落伞的蓝色，其他制作人可能想听见绿色，每个人理解和表达不同
@@江江-d8o 周深从大鱼还有到其它歌曲都能唱动人心，跟当时高家班的严格要求是很有直接的关系的。虽然周深在2016 年以优等成绩毕业，但2015年时，第一次录专辑，当时还相当嫩，在录音棚里，所有的东西都会被放大，包括所有的缺点。当时他受的是三年的魔鬼训练，加上自己的努力，才有精致的专辑，更有现在惊艳的周深。这是一首另类的歌曲，算是艺术歌吧，难度极高，不是一般人可以驾驭得到的，一点滴拿捏得过多或过少，都会很容易被这首歌吃掉的。写难度这么高的歌曲，周深却能驾驭得到，棒！

One of my favourite songs from Zhou Shen. The song was composed 10 years ago by Mr Gao Xiao Song but ZS's performance is the first time this song is published. He is the original singer 😀. Mr Gao has waited for a long time to find a suitable singer for the song. He decided to give ZS this chance back to 2015 but ZS's vocal technique has not meet the requirement yet. Five years later, ZS recorded a demo again and sent it to Mr Gao in order to get his approval to perform it in Singer show. The lyrics is quite strange and causes people feeling of scared. It showed a very different side of ZS also.
Slight correction though...it's not ZS vocal technique didn't meet the requirement when he attempted this song for his debut album, but more like he didn't know how to handle this song, technique wise and emotion wise. However, a few years later, ZS decided to attempt this song again at Singer 2020, so he recorded his rehearsal during Singer and sent to Mr Gao to see if he's satisfied with his performance, and Mr Gao was absolutely stunned and felt that ZS had improved tremendously. This is definitely one of my fav songs from him too!
