Be nice to know what fuel rating and density altitude for the run, cause this is a tad slow for the platform with only 40k on the clock. lol my windows also start whistling at 125.

My nephew was upset that I gifted him a Ford Taurus SHO. Instead of my Charger ( That I still own and daily drive) Obviously behind our backs he stated racing his buddies. ( I won’t lie I was furious) I took the keys away for a month. He got around on the public bus. That was 4 years ago. Last weekend his buddies now 25 or older we’re saying how the Ford beat the pants off of his buddies cars, Especially the other boys Chrysler 300. He casually walks over and hugs me. He now has a Mustang with many Mods and the SHO is getting painted. Still running strong at 110,000 miles. I wish I could post a picture.
Tayrus SHO 0-60 is way out of these cars leagues. Mine stick in cool weather sid ut in 4.9 seconds and in hot 100+ weather in 5.2 seconds. It has awd and twin turbos that make tq at 1500rpms... 5.9 is what the 3.5 v6 non turbo models run to 60.
Honestly I think the Toyota Camry and Kia Cadenza are probably the best cars on this list, I loathe a Nissan Maxima ugly sedan, I rather have an Altima still, and a Ford Taurus is extremely unreliable vehicle constantly breaking down a lot, a Fusion is a lot better. 🤔 I personally prefer a Honda Accord or Mazda 6 still. 🤷🏻♂️
Honestly Taurus is pretty reliable. Not sure where you got that perception from. Used to own a 3.5 for 7 years, then played with the SHO for 2. Had one water pump go out on the 3.5 which is typical for that engine spec but by no means makes it unreliable. No hate, maybe you had a bad experience, but I'm confident in saying "extremely unreliable" is the exception not the rule on this car . It also Scores a 5 in safety and above average in reliability from my quick Google search. For fact checking I also searched bmw 325ci and chrysler 300. Seemed accurate enough.
@@damiancalderon6327 Umm okay that’s extremely biased research did you forget a lot of the original Ford Taurus’s were famous for check engine light malfunctions and other issues as well they were only reliable when they had none of that, plus those cars rode extremely rough, I personally didn’t experience from behind the wheel one of my old neighbors in Georgia had one and it rode like crap and drove like a dog! 🤣

I thought we would be on the same page since the Taurus in this video is within these years. I have no comments on any Taurus older than these since I have no experience with them. First gear is as long as some of the GM 4 speed automatics in that Taurus
