Guys, FYI, those are end address mics, not side address. The top should be pointing at your mouth. That is why one of you sounds distorted and one sounds like you are on the other side of the room.

I have 5 EMP SHEILD devices. It's great insurance for my homestead, solar system, and vehicles. Our society suffers from extreme normalcy bias and is totally ignorant of the reality of the high probability that our grid will fail at some point. It's not an "If" it will become reality in our lifetime.
Unfortunately, most people will ignore this valuable information and essential product for surge protection.
I tell everyone I know to check out your "TESTED"
    products and services.
PEACE BROTHERS AND SISTERS BE SAFE AND PRAY 🙏

Emp mitigation should be taken as seriously and treated as normally as having a circuit breaker and fuse box in your home and vehicle. I'd stay ahead of the curve, and start protection now before it becomes a scarcity, or in limited supply after people are at panic to get there hands on protection from EMP.
There's a reason this is becoming such a frontloaded issue to our federal government. It's not a coincidence. Society's dependency on all things powered by electricity is beyond the scope of human comprehension. Go back 24 years ago and consider the societal reaction to something as simple as a software error that threatened our computer's clocks, yes, the y2k event. People were building bomb shelters, and preparing for the end. While y2k ended up being inconsequential, EMP is a real threat that is proven by science, and as mentioned in the podcast, has been one addressed by our military for over a decade. We have major wars going on in Asia and the Middle east, all of which the United States is involved in and involve countries with nuclear weapons. There is also an increasing amount of solar coronas leading to a CME, producing an event that would be truly devastating.

Solar panels and batteries will not be harmed in any emp type event. The charge controller will but charge controllers these days are very cheap and it's cheaper to buy a few spares and put them in your Faraday bin, instead of wasting money on expensive gimmicks you have no idea will work or not, until it's too late.

How high can our rockets go with a 1 megaton nuke
    ChatGPT
Using a nuclear explosion to propel a rocket involves considering several factors, including the mechanics of nuclear propulsion, the energy released, and the efficiency of converting this energy into kinetic energy for the rocket. Here's a step-by-step explanation and rough calculation:
Energy Released by a 1 Megaton Nuclear Explosion:
1 megaton of TNT is equivalent to
    4.18
    ×
    1
    0
    15
    4.18×10
    15
    joules of energy.
Converting Nuclear Energy to Propulsive Energy:
In practical scenarios, not all the energy from the nuclear explosion can be converted into kinetic energy to propel the rocket. A significant portion of the energy is released as radiation and heat. Let's assume a very optimistic conversion efficiency of 10%.
    Effective Energy for Propulsion:
    Cost:
High-quality EMP protection devices can be expensive. It’s important to balance the cost with the value of the equipment and infrastructure being protected.
    Maintenance:
Some devices may require regular maintenance or testing to ensure they remain effective over time.
    Overall Strategy:
Consider integrating multiple layers of protection, such as using both surge protectors and EMP filters, along with physical shielding for particularly sensitive or critical electronics.
    Conclusion
Commercial EMP protection devices can be effective for house wiring and electronics, but their success depends on proper selection, installation, and integration into a broader protection strategy. High-quality devices from reputable manufacturers, when installed correctly, can significantly mitigate the risk of damage from an EMP event. However, it is essential to recognize that while these devices can offer substantial protection, they may not be foolproof against all possible EMP scenarios.

If I was a rich person, yes, I would get protection for my home and one of my vehicles. (The other one doesn’t need it). As it stands right now, I am one of those people that live from paycheck to paycheck….at least I do work and my job isn’t going anywhere.

For solar systems, all that's needed is a few spare charge controllers if an emp actually fries it. I can buy basic charge controllers for a tenner each and have a handful of them stored away in the Faraday bin
As for cars, it's a waste of money. In an emp event roads will be gridlocked.
