He was a guy who was easily relatable to all on every level no matter what your background, just seemed like a great fella all round. Had a huge future ahead. Porridge was incredible. Terrible to be gone at 31.
I am relatively young and I know Richard Beckinsale so well from TV. He really is beloved here in the UK, he had a warmth and openess that comes through the screen.
Это твой папа да соболезную 😂
I only recently discovered she was his daughter. I too grew up with him on the TV and vividly remember his death. She's just as beautiful as he was.
Yes they look so alike. He had the same eyes and beautiful smile. It's a magnetism that few have. I wonder why she isn't in more movies but I understand from her interviews that she works to live rather than vice versa.
Да я смотрел какая она была красивая в детстве ? Сколько ей лет было когда она потеряла отца 😂
Richard Beckinsale was loved because he was the 1970s for many people. He played a student radical; and a criminal trying to better himself. He represented the new classless society. There was no barrier between him and the audience.
the chilling thing is I think his daughter represents the 21st century. How all that idealism ended up with an Oxford educated woman appearing effectively in B-MOVIES ,stripping for Esquire magazine then accusing a Jewish Movie producer of sexual harassment. Didn't she dump her husband for another man? How did her 8 year old daughter feel about that I wonder.....
I watched Richard in Porridge and in Rising Damp first time round. He was one of my favourite actors. Now Kate is my favourite actor who makes me proud to be British. Such a lovely person in so many ways.
Kate is still my favourite actress since growing up watching her as Emma! She's simply a mix of wit and elegance but she's not afraid to be candid in interviews as well. Also who's watching this in 2018?
This channel is such a nice change of pace from the norm. Grounded, digestible, and somehow truly candid. Sounds silly but the neutrality in aesthetic tone really pushes a humanistic, relatable side of the interview. Not sure if all previous talk-show/interview productions have inherently lost an important part of their core principal (purpose?) or this show is just great at promoting those ideals.Maybe I'm just jaded towards the "try-hard-y-ness" of larger productions. Either way, thanks and kudos. The work is quietly beautiful ~
m fabijanic agreed!!
m fabijanic, I know exactly how she feels as my Mother suddenly dropped dead in front of me from sudden heart failure. Five years later I am still suffering from psychological problems from it and it’s highly probable that it triggered me to suffer from awful atrial fibrillation which damaged my heart and kidneys.
Доброе утро солнышко ❤😮😊🎉 давай учить вместе ты русский я английский язык ты каким телефоном пользуешься
Richard Beckinsale was robbed from us all at such an early age, he is so sadly missed by us all. He was an acting genius.
Beautiful lady and no doubt Richard would be so proud of her and her sister, Sam. Shame that there isn't a bond between the two though.
Very recently i viewed this is your life of Richard Beckinsale . the performances he gave to us are legendary comedy .
We all love Kate ❤️💓💕 she's beautiful and Beautiful heart God bless her 💓
Aww her dad was a legend 💗
Yes Kate ... Richard was my role model and always will be... a good person always when it wasnt fashionable to be good .
My dad up watched Porridge in his 20s and showed it to me when I was growing up. It is a wonderful series and Richard is a part of that. Very sad loss, but his legacy lives on.
I still watch Porridge now. Never gets old. REAL comedy, not the nasty, rude stuff you get in the UK now.
Absolutely right about her dad Richard, he was amazingly warm
I remember when Richard passed away it was the same day my grandmother , RIP to all 💖💖💖💖
very very sad Richard died at just 31 years of age he would have been a grandfather now and he wouls have been so proud of kate god rest his soul.
carl kane yeah, he had a heart attack that killed him. Idk how did get it that was caused by high cholesterol since he is healthy (He used to smoke but he quit smoking and wanted to get fit).
I never seen his shows since I never heard of him until I was on the Internet and while googling Kate Beckinsale
, I went to Wikipedia and here it is, Richard Beckinsale is there.
It's crazy and sad and depressing and heartbreaking at the same time when you lose your parent(s) at the young age.
And also it's weird and crazy when a very healthy person who hadn't had medical issues/heart problems one day had a heart attack, stroke, seizure, cancer, or something like that and then died from it.
@@rayvega3163 yeah good point
A moving interview ..with Kate beckinsale....honest....and spoken from the heart ..❤️
Such a graceful woman.
Pure class, absolute grace and beauty
She is such a great person and very talented actress
Sad that Americans do not by and large know her wonderful father. He was and remains, even 40+ years after his death, an icon of British TV and as much beloved as he was in the 70s. He was in three iconic UK comedies: Porridge, The Lovers, and Rising Damp. The tragedy is that he had been complaining of chest pains for 2-3 weeks before his fatal collapse, and was visibly pale, but nobody back in 1979 grasped about early heart disease and put it down to nerves. Also, he was rake-thin, not overweight.
So true. I do believe if he had lived he would have cracked America and became a huge Hollywood star himself.
She still looks like she is in her 20’s ✌🏽🌹❤️
Or in her 30s
Or well lit
😆
Kidding. She’s utterly beautiful in the most traditional and mesmerising way!
She has a strong heart and soul
Kate's IQ is beautiful.
I'm aware of Ms. Beckinsale now, as a huge star from "Underworld", "The Widow" and countless other things over the years, but I first saw her ages ago in "Uncovered" and later "Laurel Canyon". It's fun seeing how far she's come from such weird, quirky projects back then. Now I'm going to see if I can find something with her much beloved father in it.
I had flu jab attacked my heart massive cardiac arrest I died 26minutes spent weeks months in coma rehab hospital learning talk walk again been a recovery massive discovery never ever give up on yourself many will never yourselves keep going Kate doing amazing things stay strong stay safe sending love from Nottingham UK xxx
A beautiful woman in every sense.❤️
I was born a fortnight prior to this great comedy actors passing. I am a big fan of Richard Beckinsale and his work from Porridge to Bloomers I'm only sorry his career was so shortlived. That said iam pleased to have made a purchase of his autograph recently. I own a snippet from this wonderful man's life. What a gent. Kate Beckinsale must be so proud.
I'm understanding a little bit of where her humor comes from..
Legends never die diamonds are forever stay strong stay safe Kate becareful out there takecare happy Christmas happy new year always in mind and heart always xxx
He was soooooo gorgeous.
She gives so much in her interviews maybe due to the humble interviewer (open question.. curious questions)
She looks like her Dad❤️
Being shot in black and white is a lost art. It really gives a diff aspect to the visual. Just when i thought this woman couldnt get any hotter right ?🤣
The interviewer is one of the best photographers working today. This aesthetic is deliberate & very clever. It makes the interview seem more intimate & honest. The colour gloss applied to many chat shows can be distracting. It signals their artifice & dates the production whereas this feels more timeless.
His daughter, Samantha, looks the spitting image of him.
Beauty itself.......
She brought a cat I love it
Huge fan of her Dad. "Katie" was part of her Dad's "This is your Life" programme in 1977. He was way too young for this program but sadly it was a great chance to review his career because he died so young. ruclips.net/video/Zij5dquG-Yg/видео.html
Ultra stunner
Her dad would have gone on to bigger things ....... the uk loved him so it was only natural the world would think the same
What are the odds that the most beautiful voice + accent are embodied by the most beautiful woman? She should be crionized for the posterity.
He was great, such a shame.
😢
May Jesus bless you with Adonai and his love ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
😥🌹
Maybe her and her sister might be in a film together
Good Morning,,Beautiful,,love you
Lol I found out she is 1/8 Burmese...
My god....how do you live with that....
shame shes had so much work done to her face!
She is no doubt his daughter but this woman is irratating. Samantha Beckinsale looks like her father.
