Darci created the Petunia character as a small kid to help her with her shyness, she poured in Petunia a then hidden part of her that is outgoing and courageous. Petunia is much more than just a show, it's like your best imaginary friend that was also given a physical body. In a sense, Petunia is very much real, a real friend
I just watched a video of Sheri and Lambchops. I had hopes that Darci would become the next Sheri Lewis. There are lots of good singers. But none of them can do what Darcy does.
Wow... You've come such a long way. Just your level of commitment to your characters makes you just a comedic genius. I'm so very impressed with your work. Your pitch, punch line and just your art is so next level. You're no longer that shy little girl that once found comfort and safety in your puppets. You've truly been an inspiration to do many both young and old. And I've gotta tell say... I can only imagine that it wasn't an easy feat. However, you make it look so very effortless, and I can't wait to continue watching you grow, Miss. Lynne.

It's why I said, "Keep up the good work Miss. Lynne". Suggesting that she's now a young adult. I had only mentioned that she was not longer that shy little girl anymore, simply referring back to her very first audition at the tender age of 12 years old. In her first audition, Darci stated that she was shy and would talk to her puppets because she didn't have friends. So thinking back to that time, I remember looking at her and watching her nervous giggle and smile on stage and compared that Darci to the Darci that quickly evolved into this amazingly, hilarious & mature young lady, she's become today. Sure... it was only 7 years ago. But I was just so impressed by her talent and could only reflect on who she once was to who she is now. Smh... INCREDIBLE! Even her punch lines and jokes have grown up with her. Especially Edna. Wow! When she's in character with Edna... OMG! One would think and/or believe, EDNA IS 100% REAL! I mean... just the voice changes, delivery and attitude... would certainly be something someone from that age group would say and/or do. Then you've got my 2 favorite... Petunia & Oscar. My favorite joke by Oscar star about Heidi marring a "Seal" and he may have a chance since he's a "Mouse". Then there's sassy Petunia... my gosh. Where does she come up with this? So to be able to tap into that at such a very young age and to continue making her audience laugh and remain engaged... to me speaks volumes. It just shows me how much she's grown over the 7 years from her being that shy little girl on that AGT stage. But a special thanks to you for the "like". Thank you!

I'm happy when I hear others who are impressed by her talents and love her puppets. By the way, when she was being interviewed while on AGT, she really impressed me with her thoughtful comments, and for a 12 year old, I thought she expressed herself very well. Looking forward to seeing more exciting things from Darci in the near future!
