I did look at Hue but ended up settling on the Wiz Connected bulbs from Philips. I’ve fitted a Wiz motion sensor on our landing and works really well. Wish it would allow you to set it below 5 minutes though.
First things first, Love the video as always. Thanks for feeding my addiction for Philips Hue products and making spend, yet again, more money... Secondly, Never apologise for doing another Hue video. I think you should do a review of the cheaper, hue compatible, sensors and just compare them. See what features they do/don't have. I think that would be quite interesting on a more budget set-up side of things. 👍
Hi. Just moved into a new house and the bathroom has a Hue Motion Sensor. Do you know if you have to have a Hue Bridge or can the lights be solely controlled via a phone? Thanks
If you have hue bulbs, then some of them can be Bluetooth controlled, early generation ones can’t. However Hue Motion Sensors require the bridge. I’ve got a beginners guide to Hue on my channel, definitely check it out!
Great review... The only one I've found which actually shows what the hell the light sensor does. All the other reviews just shows the day/night settings... Not how the sensor also takes ambient light into consideration. So I was worried it would turn on light on full power whenever it detected motion, no matter if the sun is out, making the light sensor completely redundant.
Thanks so much for watching ! Hope you’ve given me a 👍🏼 ☺️ . There’s a whole Hue playlist where I cover pretty much every element of the Hue ecosystem! Thanks!
Lol i know you posted this awhile ago but if i understood you right the light will turn off after two minutes of detecting nothing right? so like if i out one in my closet the light will stay on the whole time if it keeps detecting motion

Are Gradient light tubes out of stock in UK too?
No.. They are on Amazon for next day delivery
is this dependent on the bulbs in each location to be a "smart bulb"?
Yeah.. they need to be Hue / Zigbee compatible bulbs

That's right!
Do you keep your kidnap victims in your closet?
The Wiz motion sensor doesn't work so well although it's cheaper.
