The difference with the chunibyou is the fact that it's "real" in the world of awakening. I mean if we had actual super heroes, wouldn't you imitate them even when you think you're not being watched. Additionally owain has the skills to back up his chunibyou. Most people simply have chunibyou to feel special/cooler but owain takes inspiration from heroes of old and uses their tales and monikers to push forward as his own blended warrior. Now if owain was a coward I wouldn't like him as much but it just goes to show that action speaks louder than words and that he's only a little over enthusiastic about his role models. But people still say shit and I'm Like Lucina impersonated Marth, the hero king, isn't that chunibyou as fuck?
