Your video makes a lot of sense, except for the fact that airports in many of the big cities in China are now totally deserted. There are clips on RUclips showing groups of people who have been living on the floor of Shanghai Pudong airport for over a month. No shower, limited access to food and nowhere to go. But commenters are saying that those living conditions are still better than being locked in a square cabin. I think the issue is that if you want to leave Shanghai for example and you are able to make it to the airport (after getting all of the required paperwork and approvals) and your flight gets cancelled then you are basically stuck at the airport. Good luck! I await the 50-Cent comments. I noticed that you hired some higher-quality commenters last time who posted some comments in proper English for a change.
These are some absolutely colossal structures!!!! Truly unique, super amazing designs and construction!!!! Absolute works of art!!!! Great footage too!!!!
As of May 2022, China has 248 civil and commercial airports, and the United States has 555 civil and commercial airports. In 2021, China's civil aviation industry will complete 440 million passenger trips, and the U.S. civil aviation industry will complete 670 million passenger trips in 2021. The largest airport terminal in the world is Beijing Daxing Airport in China. The terminal building of Beijing Daxing Airport, with an area of 1.4 million square meters, is 17 times larger than the terminal building of Denver International Airport, the largest in the United States. It took China only about 4 years to build the single terminal building with the largest scale and the most difficult construction in the world, as well as the largest comprehensive transportation hub in the world. Robots help you park, robots help you with luggage, and the airport automatically melts snow on snowy days.
Beijing Daxing airport was designed and constructed by a consortium under Buro Happold based in the UK. To credit China entirely is to overlook the fact that is was a multinational collaboration.
The lack of a comprehensive high speed railway system means the USA requires more airports. Imagine China today without its HSR, airports will be choked.
Great Video, Alex. Your drone shots really captured how well designed airports should be. They sure use every available space. China's aviation industry has grown exponentially. When I left China in 1992, I couldn't get a ticket from Kunming to Hong Kong after going to the only ticket office in Kunming everyday for 2 months. I had to resort to bribe my student who got me a ticket. Now? I can fly anywhere I want at any time. Love ❤️ the aerial footage! Excellent production, as always! 👏 👌 👍
Excellent work documenting China’s incredible progress in the aviation industry. These Airports are architectural masterpieces. Comac has just built its own plane in China for China Eastern airlines. The duopoly of Boeing and Airbus has been broken. It won’t be long before Chinese built planes will be sold all over the world and take over the industry.
China is still a developing country, the government is willing and able to invest billions RMB on those projects. Good for the economy, good for the people.proud of China!

@@THEDEADBLACKRAT Randy, of course! I would be sure to be super careful. Especially if we neared any high places that were a tad adventurous to cross. While pushing you in the wheelchair trying to avoid the "curves" your personal safety would be top of my mind! 🙂

Granted, the populations in China’s mega cities will require airports that can handle passenger and product goods expeditiously in today’s fast paced world. Taking a look at China’s completed futuristic infrastructure (buildings, bridges, etc.) it becomes obvious that designers, planners, and builders leave no stone unturned, or potential issues overlooked when construction is the topic. These airports that were presented by Reporterfy Media & Travel today, will not only serve the needs for shipping and passenger transport today, but also for years to come, due to projected future expansion needs. In other words, building today, for tomorrow. Also, one can only imagine the thousands of jobs created within and outside these modern airports, all tied to the industry. Congratulations China! You’ve done it again! And thank you Reporterfy Media & Travel (Alex, Julija, & team) for another A+ presentation! 🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆

The new one at Qingdao is especially impressive by all reports (as they all are). Have to say a better terminal in Chengdu is definitely needed since the older one wasn't really up to snuff from what I recall.
I was shocked by the simplicity of the JFK airport in New York when I arrived last year in May, only one retired old man standing behind the main counter at the entrance, and one guard only at the entrance. No one there to check my luggage when I came out, I felt free...
JFK airport is the most dirty airport I have ever visited, it's like going to public restroom in the 80s, dirt grime and graffitis. And that was about 6 years ago, I think it's only becoming worst.
Protecting the people (we have almost 10,000 deaths, since the Chinese New Year 2022, because we did not have a proper lockdown) should be top priority. Learn from our Hong Kong painful mistakes. Support Central Government, Beijing!! ♥️🇨🇳🇭🇰♥️
well some might see the lockdown as bad move due to the economic reasons, some migh even suffering right now under the lockdown situation. BUT, think about China's 1.4billion population, even if we count the death rate as the lowest 2.9%, there would be approx 40.6millon people gonna die if China loosen the pandemic controll right now. But who has the right or courage to decide who should die or who shall live? Plus the health care capacity of China is way lower than those western countries, im not even mention the per capita data. So though I wish the unlock would come sooner, but in oder to keep people alive and free from covid, we still need to lockdown the infected areas. NO OTHER CHOISE for now.
Hospitals in any country cannot take good care of patients if the epidemic breaks out for a period of time. What's more, in China, our medical resources are not enough, and the number of deaths may be in the tens of millions. Chinese people attach great importance to family and respect the elderly. We are not social Darwinists. We cannot accept the death of so many elderly people. Society will be unrest. To stop the spread of the virus. I started a home office in Beijing and stopped dinner, partying, and traveling. But this does not mean that I lose my freedom. I can go out for a walk and exercise every day, and try my best to buy food and daily necessities through takeout. Life is good, there are less business and human entertainment, and life has become a lot simpler. It's a bit boring and monotonous, but we all think it's acceptable. Because I love my family and want to protect them. At this point, I would like to quote a famous quote from "The Three Musketeers": One for all, all for one.
