I have their 40v line up (chainsaw, weed wacker, and pole saw) and have beat them up for a couple of years now with no issue. In fact I usually grab the 40v 16" chainsaw before I grab one of my Stihl's.
Right now I'm audition the Greenworks 60v mower and the Snapper 82v mower. I have used both once and can't decide between the two. The Snapper has a larger mower but my grass is never out of control. It may go two weeks without a cut once a year while it's actively growing so I really don't need the extra power the 82v might have. The color of the Greenworks mower is starting to grate on my nerves a little though. Both seem to mulch a little better than my Ego mower.
The Greenworks 80 volt line is a professional line. I have the mower and the string trimmer. The mower can't be beat, but the string trimmer is a beast to carry, especially since I have the 4 Ah battery. I imagine that's why they came out with the 60 volt line.
Picked up a 40 volt (19") GreenWorks mower with 5.0 Ah battery for CDN $249 and it works like a charm, cuts/mulches 4000 square feet of 3/4 of the battery. The multiple voltages available is confusing but I find 40 volt more than sufficient for average use. Need to look at the rest of their line
I have a Greenworks Pro 60V Hedge Trimmer and the blades got caught on a branch and now are not aligned correctly. They no longer cut. Can you tell me how to align the blades. I see screws on the back but don't want to move them unless necessary.
TheAtomTwister how do you like the 80v? I've tested the 82v mower and it is a little bit heavy to push so I'm looking at the 80v self propelled mower or 60v self propelled mower.
@Julius Awesomeness. The 60V self propelled mower isn't on sell just yet but if you're interested in testing one out, email your mailing address to marketing@greenworkstools.com and we'll send you one!
I do not have the mower, but I do have the trimmer that has the motor in the bottom, the gen 1 80V blower, the gen 2 80V blower, and the backpack blower. I really like the 80V gen 1 blower and the backpack blower, I don't care too much for the trimmer and the gen 2 blower. I wanted to get the 80V self-propelled mower and put a universal mulching blade with high lift on it so it cuts better and leaves less stringers (blades of grass that escape from being cut by the mower) behind. I did not buy the commercial stuff because of how much more expensive than the 80V pro stuff is and because they did not have a self propelled mower. They are working on a 32 inch zero turn mower though.
TheAtomTwister I heard about the mowers. In there commercial catalogue they have pictures of them and they look awesome. 33" walk behind, 48" stand-on and 52" ride-on. Not yet sure when they will be released but I'm excited to see how well they mow!
Danger Will Robinson danger! 28,000 GreenWorks and Kobalt mowers were recalled May 26. Twelve incidents and 5 fires from faulty circuit boards sparked the recall.
Just buying our first house... this video just reminded me how much garden stuff i just dont have.
Great videos.
I've used the chain saw, trimmer, blower and lawn mower. I'm pleased with their working. Very pleased

Greenworks has a 82volt, 80 volt, 60volt, 40volt and a 24 volt line
What's it like living without fences in the back yard?
I have the kobalt 80v and I'm enjoying it! Best choice for home owners with a average size yard.
Can ya check out the new 24 volt Kobalt weed eater and blower?
I may have missed it being mentioned but is that push mower self-propelled?
No, it isn't.
Thanks!
Please review Greenworks 60 volt backpack blower
Cody Robertson I have one and it is very powerful and quite
i would like to see more close up footage of the handle, blade, etc when you talk about it. just a thought for future vids.
They have 24v, 40v, 60v pro, 80v pro and 82v commercial
I've got the 80V pro stuff, and quite a bit of it. I'm thinking about getting the 82V commercial.

Electric is definitely the best way to go now for a home owner
It's battery, not electric.
