My thanks and highest praise. I am 51 years old and have my MS in computer science. I've taught Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for years both lower-division intro to computers class and in another trade school-type environment. I was also a Visual Basic and Oracle developer for about 7 years back in the late 1990's. Lastly, I have been a teacher in a variety of subjects on and off for decades. All this setup to say that Mr. McAllister put together a well-designed lesson plan, used excellent examples, anticipated areas of potential confusion, and conveyed the essence of Access well enough for me to complete a small project at my current place of employment. All of that for free... Thank you so much. PS- The references to floppy disks, CrLf, etc were both funny and sobering... I, too, am old enough to remember all of these things. Take good care!
I have used MS Access in my work as well as for pleasure in the past, but now in retirement I decided to look even more deeply into it. These courses are exactly what I needed! OK, I knew much of the stuff, but there were lots of hints, tips, tricks, and things I had simply never encountered. Your ‘style’ and pace of teaching suited me perfectly. Thank you so much.
I have completed Access courses from Beginner to Master. It actually took me more than the hours stated on the videos, from pauses, practices, and trying to figure out the problems I came across while taking it. From someone who didn’t have prior experience or knowledge with Access, I am able to do so much with this program, which assists with job applications and tasks. Hopefully, this will become handy at work. Dan is very through and detailed, step by step instructions. He challenges you as the course goes on at higher level. He has quite of amusement that doesn’t get you bored talking the class, which is A+. This is an online course, you learn at your own time. Nobody is there to tell you what to do so you just have to be disciplined enough to get through all of them. I appreciate you so much. 😊
Thanks so much Learn it and the great teacher Mr Dan McAllister. I've completed all the 4 videos of access and now I can create a database structure for businesses. I pray for this institution to be discovered by the whole world and be given due respect it deserves. Thaaaaankuuuuu. Following from Nairobi Kenya 🇰🇪🇰🇪
This Access tutorial is exceptional, with a well-designed and thoroughly structured format. I have gained a wealth of knowledge and discovered features of Access that I was previously unaware of. Congratulations on a job well done!
I agree with everyone else: excellent throughout. I tend to learn things through text, but that's very difficult with a wide ranging, varied and taxing programme like Access. These wonderful videos are just the job- without them I would spend much longer working through the books, articles etc.
Thanks Dan! Great Training. Did the full journey, all eight modules with you. Feel much more confident I can do what I need to in Access Databases now!
Excellent tutorial in an enjoyable humerous manner. Can't believe out of 20K views only some gave the thumbs up. All should have given a thumbs up and let us admit... its free. No fees to pay in learning. Thank you very much for your efforts in presenting this series in my opinion in a professional manner. I have learnt a lot watching it and MS Access I like a lot its sort of part of my hobbies too 💖
Fantastic course, I have really enjoyed it from start to finish ! I am now much more confident with Ms Access because of your videos. Thanks so much !!!
Thank you, Mr., McAllister. Although, I am familiar with Access I haven't used it for a while and learned a thing or two via the four RUclips videos. Excellent job. Now to learn a bit more about VBA and Visual Studio.
Thnaks a lot! this Tutorial is amazing, I watched every minute of the video. Through the course, it helps not only to acknowlege the fucntions but also to remember and comprehense the functions.

@@LearnitTraining😱. Am really crying for Dan. He was an excellent teacher and by this tutorials I can call myself a database programmer. Continue rip sir Dan McAllister 😮
One question I would like to ask is why did Microsoft disable the Macros for Security reasons? Will not almost all databases include macros? At first I couldn't understand why my macros weren't working until I learnt that there was the Enable Button! But it took me quite sometime to know about it.
