    What do you think of the Meross Water Leak Sensor?

    Do I still need their hub (agara or meros) if I already have an Apple TV 4K hub ?

    I’ll keep my Aqaras thanks. Too many “doesn’ts” with meross as usual…. Thanks for the informative video though.

    Great video thanks. My Fibaro leak sensor bit the dust so I’ll give the Meross system a try. $45 for 3 plus hub on Amazon. My Meross HomeKit switches and plugs have been solid.

    Which controller would work (HomeKit) with the Bulldog water valve controller?

    Thank you for the video. Small question please. The sensor itself connects to a wifi (2.4ghz) or connects to the hub? I am planning to place the sensor outdoor on the roof under a water tank, which is quite far. There is a wifi signal (2.4ghz) but no place for the hub. So i need to know if the hub needs to be in range of the sensor itself or not. If it has to be in range, any idea Whats the distance or range of the signal?

      The hub connects to the wifi via 2.4ghz and the sensor connects to the hub via a specific radio wave (show in video). the sensor cannot work without the hub. and i think the distance range is something like 300 ft? there's a link in the video description with more info on the hub and sensor

    How did you set it up the notification on the home pod?

    How did you make the light flash?

      created a shortcut in the home app to set the lights to blue, then use the wait action a few times to turn lights on and off after a few seconds

    I’ve gone for the Meross as I have an Aquara camera that will not send me any notifications of any kind, which renders it almost useless.

      @@AdamsTechLife there seems to be an HomeKit issue or just poor integration, I’m not sure which. The bridge is in my Home app but I can’t assign a sensor to a room so when I get a notification it just it for the location of the hub.

    Are you able to get the aqara leak sensor into Google home

    • @AdamsTechLife
      @AdamsTechLife  Год назад

      Not natively...there are some workarounds online but not natively that Aqara supports
