SETH, AKUMA , ERYU, TWINS all low health characters! Once you get a vortex going their dead. Most low health characters require a lot of skill to use coz they got a variety of setups. Playing safe is best option for low health.
Because they have low health, doesn't mean you play safe. Akuma PRIME example. Low health characters have supreme advantage in offense. Being safe doesn't suit them. They have to control the pace of the match.
+FGCyang its called "Glasscannon" a character with comparably low health and not many defensive options but with alot of offensive tools to pressure his opponent. AKuma would be a good example but so is seth to be honest. Dahlsim on the other hand side would as you call it prefer to play it safe and keep his distance, but thats because hes got great zoning tools not because of his health. Sim with say Gief health in any incarnation of sf would be a pretty tough opponent but i digress.

Poongko's Seth owns any other mid/low/high Dudley. Smug's mastery of combos is extra-ordinary, even in comparison to elite players. He is the only Dudley player capable of winning a major tourney. I'm still seeing a very wide variety of characters fully capable of winning tourneys. If Smug's not there, most majors don't even have a Dudley in the top 10...
I think poongko sandbagged no disrespect to smug he's Gdlk but poongko didn't pic he's main against pepede because they may run into eachother in the tourney...

Seth is just plain weak in the sense you get touched once and you are done for, and for Dudley as being the character that hits the hardest in the game per bar well it was expected. For this matchup in particular Seth would need like 1000 health/decent low profile attack just to stay alive lol sometimes you just have to mash and against a character that punishes on the ground for 400 damage with one bar, not happening... Its just like the case where Ryu and Ken seems to have advantage against evil ryu, he doesn't have hp enough to keep up with the footsies. Seth doesn't have hp enough to fuck up once lol.
Dudley, Chun and Elena are my kryptonite , you can damn near suck ass with the character and I can't win. I've played Smug a few times....did decent but in the end I got stomped.
